CAN A TREAT REALLY “BOOST” YOUR DOG'S IMMUNE SYSTEM?
It's a little more complicated than finding one magical ingredient.
Your dog's immune system is supported by their overall health and nutrition — and their main balanced diet remains the foundation.
But where can natural treats fit into the picture?
That's exactly what we're exploring in this week's blog:
Boosting Your Dog's Immune System with Natural Treats
We're looking at nutrition, natural treat choices and why it's important to look at the bigger picture rather than expecting one treat to do everything.

JEFF & VIOLET DON'T READ INGREDIENT LISTS.
The assessment process is considerably simpler:
Sniff.
Inspect.
EAT.
But as dog owners, we can look a little deeper.
What we're feeding our dogs contributes to their overall nutrition — and good nutrition plays an important role in supporting normal body functions, including the immune system.
So this week we're taking a closer look at natural treats, nutrition and immune health.
Because there's more to a treat than whether your dog thinks it tastes amazing.
Although according to Jeff & Violet, that's still extremely important.
Follow along this week! 🐾

MEALS vs TREATS
If Jeff designed his own diet, we're fairly certain natural treats would constitute breakfast, lunch AND dinner.
But treats and meals have different roles.
A suitable complete main food provides the foundation of your dog's diet.
Treats are the extras we can use for things like:
Rewards
Training
Enrichment
Chewing
Or simply treating our dogs!
And with Violet joining us, it's also a reminder that what works for one dog isn't automatically right for another.
Individual dogs can have different needs.
Treat thoughtfully.

JEFF HAS RECEIVED SOME IMPORTANT NEWS…
Mum: You're getting a little sister.
Jeff: 👀
Mum: Her name is Violet. 💜
Jeff: Okay…
Mum: She's coming to live with us.
Jeff: Okay…
Mum: And she might like natural treats too.
Jeff: EXCUSE ME?! 👁️👁️
Apparently Jeff was perfectly happy with the new family arrangements until the Canine Crunchies cupboard became involved. 😂
Don't worry, Jeff — there's plenty to go around.
Violet will be settling into her new home at her own pace, while Jeff continues his very important duties as Chief Taste Tester.
Welcome to the family, Violet.
