Care Guides
Spray cat grass at the base of the leaves with a light mist twice daily. Morning and evening is suggested as this can help to hydrate your cat. Keep cat grass in a sunny spot or place in a sunny spot when your cats not eating it. Every few days days, check the roots under the tray. If they look furry, this means they're looking for water. Sit the tray in shallow bowl of water for a min

ute and the roots will draw up the water needed and return to healthy delicate, fine looking roots again. If the grass grows so tall the leaves start to flop over, trim an inch off the top with scissors, water and place on a sunny window sill.

Cat grass update

Hey everyone, thank you for your well wishes before I went in. I’m home and recovering now!
I have some good news, I have an apprentice grass grower 🫶😻
So over the coming weeks there will be a few trays of grass pop up A Coombs Pet Centre
For anyone who has purchased my grass kits please feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions as I’m well enough to answer those
I’ll drop a message here when grass will be ready

Please note, it will be limited numbers while Rob gets used to the system and working it around taking care of me and the kids

Cat grass update

Good evening to all my lovely supporters.
I’m coming here this evening to let you all know for the short term, tomorrow will be the last batch of my delicious cat grass going out to the shelves of A Coombs Pet Centre
This is due to me undergoing another major operation.
I will be taking the time I need to recover and I just want to apologise to your cats 🐱
I will be back, I promise, I just need some time to recover

Currently my cat grass is growing too well!!!!!!
I’m trying to get it to the shops earlier so you can get the most of the grass.
I’ve found when it’s getting tall…… cut it right down to 10cm approx and then maintain it at that height and you’ll get the normal longevity if you water from the bottom as usual when it needs it
With the excess grass I recommend keeping it in the fridge/ freezer and using it as a food topper if you have a dog that likes grass or feeding it to birds’s, chickens, Guinea pigs etc or as a topper to your cats food!
Chop into 1cm strips if you’re feeding to your dog/ cat as a topper to avoid long strands getting stuck
