Now that the winners have officially been announced, we can finally share our exciting news…

💙 We has been awarded CANINE HYDROTHERAPY CENTRE OF THE YEAR at the Scotland Prestige Awards 2026/27! 💙

We are absolutely delighted, incredibly proud and a little overwhelmed to receive this award! 🥹

What makes this award so special is that Aqua Canine wouldn’t be what it is today without all the wonderful dogs and their amazing owners who walk through our doors.

Every wagging tail, every little milestone, every success story and every bit of trust you place in us means more than you could ever know. 🐶💙

We have poured so much hard work, dedication and love into building Aqua Canine, and to have that recognised is truly an incredible feeling.

From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! 💙

Thank you for putting your trust in us, for supporting our small business, for recommending us and for allowing us to be part of their rehabilitation journeys.

We feel incredibly lucky to do what we love every single day.

Here’s to continuing to make a difference, one paw at a time! 🐾💙

We waved off the very handsome Murphy as he heads back to sunny Cyprus! ☀️🐶

Murphy is quite the jet-setter, spending half the year enjoying life in Cyprus and the other half here in the UK! 🇬🇧✈️🇨🇾

This handsome boy has been coming in for Class 4 Laser Therapy and Hydrotherapy to help manage his hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis.

And what a superstar he’s been! 🌟💙

Murphy has made fantastic progress and is now a bit of a pro at it all! He knows the routine, takes everything in his stride and has become quite the expert! 🐾💦

We are so proud of how well he’s doing, and it’s been an absolute pleasure helping to keep him comfortable, mobile and enjoying life to the fullest. 💙

We’re going to miss him, but we know he’ll be off enjoying some well-deserved sunshine! ☀️

Safe travels, Murphy! We’ll see you back in March for more cuddles! 🥹💙

A great weekend in Guildford attending the NARCH 2026 Education Seminar, continuing to build on my knowledge and keep up to date with the latest developments in canine hydrotherapy and veterinary rehabilitation.

As is a proud member of NARCH – the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists. As registered hydrotherapists, completing regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an important part of maintaining our professional registration and ensuring our knowledge and skills continue to develop.

The veterinary and rehabilitation industry is constantly evolving, with new research, techniques and evidence emerging all the time. Continuing our education means we can bring that knowledge back into the clinic and provide the highest standard of care for the dogs entrusted to us. 💙🐶

This weekend’s learning includes IVDD and DLSS, so plenty of valuable information to bring home!

Always learning. Always developing. Always striving to give your dogs the very best. 🐾💙

🌟 Mallow is doing AMAZING! 🌟

We’re so proud of this gorgeous boy and the progress he’s making following his IVDD surgery. 💙🐾

Mallow has been working hard with a combination of Veterinary Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy, helping to support his recovery, rebuild strength and muscle, improve balance and coordination, and encourage confident, controlled movement.

Every session we’re seeing those little improvements that add up to BIG progress — and Mallow continues to take everything in his stride. 🥰

Recovering from spinal surgery takes time, patience and plenty of hard work, and this superstar is absolutely smashing it! ⭐️

Keep going, Mallow — we’re all incredibly proud of you! 💙🐾

🐾 Daisy brought management with her today… 😂👀

The gorgeous Daisy has been coming to us for maintenance sessions to help manage her multi-joint osteoarthritis. She is honestly the sweetest girl and never fails to put a smile on our faces. 🥰💙

Today, however, Daisy arrived with her little sister Goose, who apparently had some serious concerns about the standard of care her big sister was receiving. 😂

Goose watched Daisy’s session VERY closely, and while Daisy was distracted having her post-session shower, she seized her opportunity…

Straight into the treadmill for a full inspection. 🔎🐾😂

We’re pleased to report that we passed Goose’s inspection and have been permitted to continue treating Daisy. 😮‍💨😂

Daisy may be the patient, but we’re fairly certain Goose is now in charge of Quality Control. 💙🐾

Payment in treats will, of course, be expected. 😂

🐾 Superstar Simba! 🐾

How gorgeous is this boy? 💙

Simba was referred to us for hip dysplasia, and he has been doing absolutely amazing with his rehabilitation sessions. We’re so pleased with the progress he’s making and how well he takes everything in his stride.

But it’s not just his progress that makes Simba special — he is genuinely one of the sweetest, most gentle souls you could ever meet. 🥹 He has such a calm, loving nature and those beautiful eyes make it very difficult not to fall completely in love with him!

Keep up the amazing work, Simba. We’re so proud of you! 💙🐾

💙 Brodie 💙

This very handsome (and incredibly goofy! 🤪) boy is Brodie, who was referred to us for hydrotherapy to help manage his elbow dysplasia.

Brodie has been doing so well with his sessions, and it’s been lovely to see the difference in his comfort and movement. 🐾💦

Hydrotherapy can be a fantastic part of managing elbow dysplasia, allowing us to provide controlled, low-impact exercise while helping to maintain mobility, build supporting muscle and improve overall comfort.

And, of course, Brodie brings plenty of personality to every appointment! 😂 He really is such a lovable, goofy boy and an absolute pleasure to have in.

Keep up the amazing work, Brodie! 💙🐾

Meet the handsome Riley! 💙

Riley was referred to us for the management of elbow dysplasia, and what an incredible journey it has been. From the very beginning, he has approached every hydrotherapy and physiotherapy session with such enthusiasm, and his progress has been nothing short of amazing.

He’s now moving so much more comfortably, his confidence has grown, and it’s wonderful to see him enjoying life with greater ease. Riley is such a clever boy and always tries his absolute best, making him a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We’re so proud of everything he’s achieved! 🐶✨

We’d also like to apologise for the lack of social media posts recently. Things have been incredibly busy here! We’ve been working 12-14 hour days to make sure we can keep up with the overwhelming number of new veterinary referrals coming through our doors. While social media has taken a bit of a back seat, our priority has always been providing the very best care for every dog that visits us.

Thank you to all of our amazing clients for your continued support, patience and trust. We truly appreciate every referral and can’t wait to share more of our fantastic patients and their progress with you over the coming weeks. 💙🐾

Well done, Riley – you’re an absolute superstar! ⭐

Meet Mallow 🐾❤️

Mallow is one of the many spinal patients we have the privilege of helping.

Mallow has been working hard with his rehabilitation programme, and we’re so pleased with the progress he’s making. Every session is tailored to help improve his strength, mobility, balance and confidence while supporting his recovery in a safe, controlled environment.

Watching dogs like Mallow regain function and enjoy life again is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We’re incredibly proud of how far he’s come and can’t wait to see what he achieves over the coming weeks.

Keep up the amazing work, Mallow – you’re an absolute superstar! 💙🐾
