Sometimes the best part of the day is simply a cosy blanket, a comfy sofa and plenty of belly rubs. ❤️

☀️🐾 Hot weather = garden fun! 🐾☀️

With temperatures soaring, our usual dog walks are taking a little break — because keeping our four-legged friends cool and safe comes first! 💦❤️

Instead, we’ve been enjoying plenty of cuddles, garden playtime and paddling-pool fun! 🥰🐶💦

There’s nothing better than watching them splash about, cool their paws and have a good old play, followed by some well-earned cuddles in the shade. 🐾💙

Walks will be back as soon as the weather cools down, but for now it’s paddling pools, playtime and belly rubs! 😍

This little one has needed a bit of extra love and attention this week ❤️

After an adverse reaction to trial medication for an ongoing leg issue, walks are on hold for now while she rests and recovers.

So instead it’s lots of cuddles, fuss, reassurance and making sure she still feels happy and loved. 🐾

Sometimes caring for them isn’t about the walks and adventures, it’s just being there when they need you most. ❤️

🐾 This little one has been building confidence with us and it’s lovely to see how much they’ve come on already. They’re starting to relax, enjoy their walks and let their personality shine through.

We always let dogs go at their own pace. No pressure, just lots of patience, encouragement and plenty of sniffing!

Seeing them become happier and more confident is one of the best parts of the job. ❤️

Summer is well underway and we’re keeping busy looking after some lovely dogs while their owners enjoy a well-earned break. 🐾☀️

Whether it’s a walk, doggy daycare or overnight stays, it’s a privilege to be trusted with your four-legged family members. Seeing happy wagging tails and getting updates from owners that they can relax knowing their dogs are safe and cared for makes it all worthwhile.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s booked with us and recommended us to friends and family. We really do appreciate your support 🐶 ❤️

🐾 A little update from us… 🐾

After lots of thinking, we’ve decided it’s time for a change.

Happy Hooves & Trusted Paws is becoming Beds, Biscuits & Belly Rubs.

When we first started, we were a mother-and-daughter team offering care for both horses and dogs. As life has changed, so have we, and we’ve made the decision to step away from horse care and put all our time and energy into the dogs.

Going forward we’ll be focusing on:

🐶 Dog Walking
🐶 Doggy Day Care
🐶 Overnight Stays (our licence application is currently underway)

We’ve realised that trying to juggle everything just isn’t the right fit anymore. We’d rather do one thing really well than spread ourselves too thin.

There’s also a huge demand for home-from-home care, especially for owners whose dogs aren’t suited to kennels or who simply want their dogs to stay somewhere they know they’ll be loved and treated like part of the family.

Our new name feels like it sums up exactly what we’re about. Comfy beds, tasty biscuits, lots of fuss, cuddles, walks, playtime and, of course, plenty of belly rubs!

To everyone who’s supported us so far, thank you so much. Whether you’ve trusted us with your pets, recommended us to friends or simply followed our journey, we’re so grateful.

This is a new chapter for us, but the love and care we give every dog will always stay the same. ❤️
