Had such a lovely walk at Delph Woods today
🌲🌳🌿🐾

It was genuinely refreshing to be around dog walkers who were paying attention to their dogs — calling them back when needed, giving others space and being considerate of everyone using the woods.
Dogs don’t have to be perfect. Ruby certainly isn’t 😂
But there’s a big difference between a dog who is still learning and an owner who isn’t taking responsibility for what their dog is doing.
Today was just nice— nice dogs, responsible owners, good chats, Ruby & co having the best time.
More walks like this please 💚

I came across this quote at a time in my life when I really needed it, and it stayed with me.
It helped me realise that I'm happiest outside, surrounded by nature, with dogs by my side — and that perhaps I didn't need to keep trying to fit myself into places that didn't feel like me.
I'm still figuring things out, but these words helped me find my way back to something I love.
Thank you for the words, Dolly. 🤍🐾

Recall doesn’t always have to mean the fun is over 🐾
Calling your dog back, rewarding them and then releasing them to carry on exploring can help build a really positive association with recall.
Sometimes coming back to you simply means
“great choice — now go have fun again!” ❤️
Little moments of training can be worked naturally into everyday walks.

🐾 A dog walk is never just a dog walk.

Some dogs want to run. Some want to sniff every blade of grass. Some want to explore, play, socialise or simply take their time. 🌿

Even when they're walking together, every dog is an individual.

At Adore Paws, I get to know each dog's personality, confidence, energy and what they enjoy — as well as making sure walking companions are a good match. 💚

Because the aim isn't just to bring home a tired dog…

It's to bring home a happy one. 🐶🐾

🐾 I think it's safe to say… it's always been dogs. ❤️

Long before Adore Paws, you'd usually find me exactly where I am in these photos — surrounded by dogs. 😂

Big ones, little ones, confident ones, nervous ones, complete nutters and the ones who'd quite happily spend the whole day having a cuddle.

One of my favourite things about working with dogs is getting to know them as individuals. Their little quirks, what makes them feel safe, what they enjoy and, eventually, earning their trust.

Looking back through old photos made me realise just how many of my favourite memories seem to have a dog somewhere in them. 🥹🐶

I suppose Adore Paws was always going to happen, I am so happy it did 💚

Honestly, some dogs just know how to make you laugh. 🐾

One of my favourite things about dog walking is getting to know all the different personalities — the serious ones, the crazy ones, the cuddly ones and, of course, the complete goofballs! 😂❤️

🐶👃 Let them sniff!

A dog walk isn't just about how far we go.

For dogs, sniffing is a huge part of exploring the world. It provides mental stimulation, allows them to gather information about their surroundings and gives them time to enjoy being a dog. 🐾

That's why at Adore Paws, our walks aren't about rushing from A to B. We give dogs time to sniff, explore and enjoy their adventure.

Sometimes the best part of the walk is stopping to smell the roses… or the lamp posts! 😂🌿
