This little rescue bearded dragon came in for a much-needed nail clip 💚

Overgrown nails can easily catch, break, or cause discomfort when walking, so regular trims are an important part of reptile care.

He was an absolute star and is already much more comfortable 🥰

Celebrating 1 Year of Kintra Vet at 28 Hamilton Road! 🎉

Wow… we can’t quite believe it, but one year ago today we opened the doors to our physical practice here in Bothwell and what an incredible year it’s been 💚

From day one, we’ve been so lucky to be welcomed by such a supportive, kind community. Thank you to every single client who has trusted us with their beloved pets, shared kind words, recommended us to friends, and supported our little practice along the way.

Caring for your fur (and feather!) babies is truly a privilege, and we’re so grateful to be part of their lives 🐾

We’re a small, independent vet practice at 28 Hamilton Road, Bothwell, G71 8NA. A small, all-female team with a big love for animals , we’re passionate about giving every pet calm, gentle, and friendly care!

We’re especially happy to work with nervous pets and worried owners, and we’re no strangers to cats who strongly disagree with carriers! We always aim to make every visit as stress-free as possible 💙

From Monday, we’re delighted to welcome a vet trained in exotic animal care to our team 🩺💚

This means we can now offer specialist veterinary care for a wide range of exotic pets, including:

Rabbits
Birds
Reptiles (snakes, lizards, tortoises)
Small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets & more)

Our exotic vet can help with:
Health checks & wellness exams
Illness diagnosis and treatment
Husbandry & nutrition advice
Ongoing care for long-term conditions
