As we get closer to the end of summer, it's Wasp season 🐝

Tips for first aid if your dog gets stung:

At home care:
📌stay calm so your dog doesn't panic.
📌clean the area with cool water and apply a compress to reduce swelling.
📌Monitor closely for 24 hours for any change physically or behaviourly.
📌if you want to apply any topical ointments,homemade remedies etc,contact your vets for more information before doing so.

When to see a vet immediately:
📌stings inside the mouth or throat as this could obstruct airways.
📌multiple stings across the body.
📌signs of severe allergic reaction, heavy swelling on the body or face, trouble breathing,weak pulse, vomiting.
