Happy Valentine’s Day 💕

They give us their trust every day. Behind every hack, every competition, there is a horse giving their all.

Regular physiotherapy helps support comfort, movement, and long-term soundness - it’s not just for injury recovery.

I have limited availability left for February. Message me to get booked in 💌

Ezzy has been through a lot.
Multiple veterinary investigations, surgery, and long aftercare meant that human contact (other than her owners) started to feel stressful rather than safe.

Since her surgery, we have focused on ensuring physiotherapy doesn’t feel like “vet touch” - slow pacing, giving her the choice to move away, and listening closely to her responses.

At her last treatment, her muscles were less tense, her face was softer, and she actively sought contact (including scratching on her owner 🥹).

Moments like this are why I love my job.
Trust is just as important as technique.

Bee would like to remind you that veterinary physiotherapy isn’t just for injured animals.

From youngsters to veterans, regular physiotherapy can support healthy movement, comfort, and long-term soundness at every stage of life.

At Animal Mobility Therapy, we work closely with vets, owners and trainers to support long-term soundness - not just short term fixes!

When assessing the dynamic movement of a dog or a horse, I am not just looking for obvious lameness.

I am watching for symmetry, rhythm, weight transfer, stride length, posture and how the body adapts to the demands placed upon it.

Subtle changes in movement often appear before clear signs of pain or injury.

Regular physiotherapy helps identify these early gait changes and address them proactively, supporting long-term comfort, soundness and performance.

Toddy’s first physio session = 10/10 cuteness 😍

As he is easily over-stimulated, we kept things slow, calm, and totally animal-led. I always work at their own pace. 🐾

If your pup could benefit from a gentle, stress-free session, send me a message to book! 🐶❤️

Do we need vet consent for veterinary physiotherapy?

It’s a question that I am asked often, and the answer depends on the individual case.

In line with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, veterinary consent is required only when physiotherapy is used to treat illness, injury or pathology. For maintenance care where no pathology is present, consent may not be required.

If consent is needed, I am always happy to liaise directly with your vet and work as a part of a wider team to support your animal.

If you are unsure what applies to your dog or horse, feel free to get in touch - I am happy to advise! ❤️

Hi, I’m Alice 👋

I’m a fully qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist based in West Sussex, offering mobile physiotherapy for both dogs and horses 🐕🐎

I work with animals of all ages, but I have a particular passion for:
- Rescue dogs/horses
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- Maintenance and comfort-focused care

My approach is gentle, thorough and holistic, taking the time to assess the whole animal - not just the problematic area.

Physiotherapy isn’t just for injuries - it can help improve comfort, movement, strength and quality of life, whether your dog is slowing down or your horse needs ongoing support to stay comfortable and happy.

This page is where I’ll be sharing:
- Education about veterinary physiotherapy
- What sessions actually involve
- How physio can support your animal long-term

If you’re local to West Sussex and think your dog or horse could benefit, feel free to get in touch 💬

Alice ❤️

Merry Christmas to all my amazing dogs, horses, and their humans🎄

Thank you so much for your support during an amazing year transitioning from massage therapist to veterinary physiotherapist 😍

If there is one thing we are taking into next year… it’s continuing those baited stretches after exercise 🤪

See you all in the new year 🐾

🌟 Fleur’s Rehab Progress! 🌟

Swipe to see her transformation 😍 ➡️

I’ve been working with Fleur and her dedicated owner since September, after a bout of laminitis left her on box rest and out of work!

We started slowly, introducing long reining, in-hand pole work and gentle stretches to rebuild her strength and confidence.

She is now moving so much better and progressed to ridden work - a huge milestone for her! 😍

I’m so happy to have to opportunity to work so closely with this lovely mare and her wonderful owner. 💛

🗓️ To book an assessment or discuss your horse’s rehab needs, drop me a message and I will see how I can help!

Here’s the lovely Lottie demonstrating how she can stand on her balance pad - a great exercise to improve joint stability, build muscle strength and enhance her overall limb function 💪🐶
