As I sit here, completely zonked out and relaxed in my caravan by the sea in Scarborough, I remember that I completely forgot to update this page to say that we shall be closed for the next two weeks!

As is our usual want, the last two weeks of August see us downing tools, closing our doors (now that the door works) and zipping across to visit another part of the country.
We will reopen once again on 1st September - hopefully a lot less stressed and a bit cooler.

Pleased to report that we now have a fully functioning front door with a lock that can latch.

You won’t believe this … came to open up this morning and the brand new lock on our front door won’t open.
Fortunately, I had the good sense to bring the back door key with me so we are in.
HOWEVER, we can’t open the front door so please, if you are coming in today… use the back door

Please check your dog’s nails regularly. This gorgeous little soul came in yesterday for a nail trim and there was at least one nail on every foot that had grown straight into the pad. Incredibly painful for the dog to walk on and live with and so easily preventable.
This foot wasn’t even the worst one …
