I really don't like having to ask whatsoever, but today I’m swallowing my pride and putting modesty aside by requesting for a little helping wing.🪽

Just last week alone, we admitted 6 new feral pigeon intakes here at Percy's Pigeon Preserve, each arriving with their own individual needs, specific medical requirements, interventional challenges and long journeys toward recovery. Every single one deserves a new opportunity in life, and we do everything in our power to give them all that I vehemently believe they are completely worthy of. ⛑️

With that in mind, behind every rescue, there are costs involved. The likes of food, supplements, medications, specialist care, rehabilitation equipment, bedding, cleaning supplies and so much more. It all adds up, and right now, things are becoming increasingly difficult to manage and maintain financially. 📈

We’re currently juggling 3 aviaries and a secure hospital unit, alongside an influx of patients requiring high end care, continuous pharmaceutical treatment and long term rehabilitation. These birds rely on us to give them the safe haven they desperately need, and I want nothing more than to keep our doors open for every pigeon who needs us. 🕊️

Percy’s Pigeon Preserve is an independent, self funded rescue, and whilst I will always do everything i possibly can to help these misunderstood creatures, the reality is that I simply cannot do it all alone. ❤️‍🩹

So, if anybody could spare even a few pigeon pennies to help keep PPP going, I would be beyond grateful. Every single donation, no matter how small, helps us provide the food, treatment, care and safe spaces our patients depend on. 🏥

And please, if you’re unable to donate, a simple share can mean the absolute world to us. Every share helps our little rescue reach new people, potential supporters and kind souls who might be able to lend a wing. 🚑

Welcome home guys!😇

Massive appreciation to Nala's Nook Squirrel & Corvid Sanctuary for entrusting me with these 2 beautiful, delicate, little souls and ensuring the new transition went as smoothly as possible.

Thank coo for taking good care of them, and giving both doves a wonderful second chance at life – I feel privileged to be able to give these bundles of joy a forever home!

A visual impairment should never constitute a death sentence , albeit I'm glad there are people like Jacqui out there who believe they have the ability to still thrive in captivity and live a happy life otherwise , even with a sensory disability. 🙏🏼💙🥹

Cali and Winnie have landed in the most wonderful home at Percys Pigeon Preserve. Brandon has been so careful and dedicated to helping them feel safe, and has been sending me updates as he knows how much difference that can make to the human too 😊.

They're in a cage just for a few days, to settle from the journey and change of environment, then they'll move into a beautiful new aviary ❤️.
