Dexter is still waiting for his forever home! 🐾

You may remember this lively crossbreed from one of our previous posts. Dexter is a clever, playful boy with plenty of energy and a real love for toys, games and enrichment. He may be a big dog, but he’s still very much a silly puppy at heart!

Dexter has made fantastic progress with his greetings and is learning to stay calm when meeting new people. He also loves nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa with his toys and K9 Carers, showing his lovely affectionate side.

A few things to know about Dexter's ideal home:

- Children aged 16 and over
- Must be the only dog in the home
- Experienced owners committed to ongoing training
- Plenty of mental stimulation, structure and routine
- Multiple meets will be required, including on and off lead and wearing his muzzle

Dexter is ready for a family who can match his energy while giving him the guidance and love he needs to thrive. In return, he’ll make a loyal, affectionate and endlessly entertaining companion.

SANTA PAWS IS BACK… AND NOW IT’S A FULL WEEKEND!

Our Santa Paws event is always incredibly popular and sells out fast, so this year we’ve made it even bigger and extended it across a full weekend!

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November

Book your visit to see Santa and get those gorgeous festive photos taken well in time for the big day, they could even make the perfect family Christmas card!

And of course, Santa is very happy to meet both dogs AND children!

There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the weekend, including festive shopping stalls, refreshments, lots of Christmas spirit and Letters to Santa. Children can write and post their very own letter, and they'll even receive a response from Santa before Christmas!

Santa is a busy man, so availability is limited and once the sessions are gone, they're gone!

Don't miss out on one of our favourite events of the year and help us make Christmas that little bit more special for the homeless dogs in our care.

Stockton is still waiting for his forever home! 🐾

You may remember this big lovable boy from a previous post. Stockton has been with us for quite some time and has formed some lovely bonds with the team. He’s an affectionate, playful boy who loves people and enjoys his squeaky toys.

Stockton is strong and energetic and can become easily overexcited, so he’ll need experienced owners who can provide calm, consistent guidance. He walks on a no-pull harness but can still be strong on the lead.

A few things to know about Stockton's ideal home:

- Children aged 13 and over
- Must be the only dog with no neighbouring dogs
- Secure fencing of 6ft or higher
- Experienced owners committed to his training
- Multiple meets will be required

Stockton has been waiting a long time for his chance at a home of his own. He’s a lovely boy with plenty of love to give and could be a wonderful companion for the right family.

Roy is still waiting for his forever home! 🐾

You may remember this cheeky Patterdale Terrier from a previous post. Roy is a friendly, playful boy with plenty of energy and personality. He loves toys, especially soft toys and tug, and is also very food motivated. He enjoys spending time with people and is happy to be handled and groomed.

Roy can be very excitable, particularly around his kennel, and needs experienced owners who can provide structure, routine and plenty of activity. He can pull on walks, so a harness is preferred, and he may struggle with being left alone.

A few things to know about Roy's ideal home:

- Children aged 8 and over with sensible, supervised interactions
- Must be the only dog in the home
- Experience with high-energy terrier breeds
- A home where someone is around for most of the day
- Plenty of exercise, training and enrichment

Roy is a lively and affectionate boy with so much to offer the right family. With the right support, he’ll make a brilliant companion.

New Puppy Class Dates - Out Now!🐾

Welcoming a new puppy into your family is exciting, but we know it can also come with plenty of questions!

Our 6-week Pawfect Puppy Training Course has been designed to help you build a happy, confident and well-mannered companion using fun, reward-based training with our experienced Behaviour & Training team.

Over six weeks, you and your puppy will learn essential life skills including:

🐾 Recall
🐾 Loose lead walking
🐾 Confidence building
🐾 Settling calmly
🐾 Socialisation
🐾 Understanding puppy behaviour
🐾 And much more!

You'll also receive expert guidance, weekly training tips, homework to practise at home and a special graduation session to celebrate everything your puppy has achieved.
