✨ Has anyone else had this happen at the Keston Paw Park?! 🦊 🐶 ✨

We’ve had a lovely message from one of our customers who says their dog has become quite friendly with a little fox that regularly visits the field! 🥹❤️

As you can see from the photo, this little fox seems very happy to sit nearby while the dogs enjoy the field. It’s certainly not something you see every day! 🦊

Has anyone else spotted this little fella, or had their dog befriend a fox at one of our fields?

From walks and drop-ins to a whole week of overnight adventures with Loki 🐾🧡

When I first started spending time with Loki, we were still getting to know each other. Fast forward to this booking, and his humans were able to jet off and get married while Loki stayed right where he was happiest - at home 🥹

While they were away, it was all about keeping things familiar and fun: walks, lots of sniffing, enrichment, chews, sofa cuddles, and of course, a few field zoomies thrown in for good measure.

And that final sunset walk? Just the perfect way to finish our time together. 🌅🌻

There’s something really special about watching a dog go from getting to know you to happily having you stay in their home while their family is away.

No new environment. No unfamiliar surroundings. Just their own home, their own routine, and a familiar face there to keep them company. 🧡

Huge congratulations to Loki’s humans on tying the knot! 🥂💍💕

🐾 Seamus & Ruby 🐾

Two very different dogs, two very different sets of needs and a few drop ins and day care bookings across July. 🤎

While their owners were celebrating a family wedding and all the festivities that came with it, we stepped in to make sure both Seamus, their senior Labrador, and Ruby, their brand-new Pomeranian puppy, were well cared for at home.

For Ruby, that meant plenty of puppy supervision, attention and keeping her little world ticking along while the family were out. 🐶

For Seamus, it was all about keeping him comfortable, settled and happy in his usual routine, with the extra care and patience that comes with looking after a senior dog. 🥰

Completely opposite ends of the spectrum, but that’s one of the things I love about pet sitting; adapting the care around the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to fit the same routine.

It was such a pleasure looking after these two. Ruby kept us on our toes, Seamus kept us company, and between them, we had the perfect mix of puppy chaos and senior wisdom. 🐾

Another lovely example of why in-home pet care can be such a great option when life gets busy - familiar surroundings, their own routines, and care tailored completely to them. 🧡
