Would I be a dog walker if I didn’t post about the heat? I know all my follows know the rules… knowing the dogs you walk and their limits is important, in both stopping them from exercising and not… Obviously when I wrote this post, no dog should be out walking in this, so I have free time with my dog…

I was relaxing on the sofa and my dog was lay on my decking… I knew he was just laying, but I was still monitoring his time.. I went out to get him.. I don’t have the type of dog that can lay out for even a short length of time in this heat … I took him to his bowl to drink and lay him by the fan… He thinks, “I was chilling”… I think, you need to lay by me 🫶🏻

Am I the only one who finds other dog walkers adverts advertising a “free meet and greet” like a unique selling point a bit strange?… please don’t let someone you have never met in person walk your beloved dog 🩷💙

Leigh strikes again! I wanted a portrait by Leigh for parents Christmas gift of their dog Tommy, and my Dad loved it (I knew he would), so much so that Tommy is pride of place next to the Grandkids above the fireplace! (I think they would like Beau’s portrait to go the other side, but that has pride of place in my living room!)

Thank you Portraits by Leigh! Your artwork is amazing and we are very grateful 🥰
