Capall Riding Club

Capall Riding Club Contact us at [email protected] Founded in 1971, the club is currently celebrating its 51st year of a long established and successful history.

Based at Cavallo Farm, on the Crawfordsburn Road, the club is indebted to Lady Perdita Blackwood for the use of these excellent facilities. With a membership of approximately 100, drawn primarily from the North Down area, the club caters for all standards of riding ability as well as having a strong, non-riding contingent, who share an interest in equestrian sports

The aims of the club are:
To en

courage riding as a sport and recreation;
To Promote good fellowship amongst riders; and
To Improve and maintain the standard of riding and horsemanship.

CAPALL RIDING CLUB DONATES TWENTY PONIES TO BANGOR RNLI

In Cockney slang a pony is Β£25, and Bangor RNLI was delighted to receive a cheque for twenty of them (Β£500) from Capall Riding Club in Newtownards.
The money was raised with proceeds from a horse show and dog show held by the club, with Bangor RNLI chosen to be the lucky recipients of the money.
Seen here presenting the cheque to volunteer crew members John Bell and Jack Irwin are club members Laura Buckley, Emily Morris and Ann Duignan, accompanied by Laura’s dogs Isla and Jax.
Sadly the horses were too big to get on the boat!
