Been very quiet on here recently, what have we been up to at CA Equine?

Here’s what’s been keeping us busy recently:

- Maintenance physiotherapy
- Post KS treatment recovery
- Arthritis management
- Many full Winback clinic days at GW equine with The Animal Therapy Co. Veterinary Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation
- Rehabilitation cases taking them from field rest to being ridden full time again
- Post injury assessments and treatments

Some recent CPD completed consists of Equine kinesiology taping, arthritis management and a deeper look into the pelvic and SI region to better understand the anatomy, biomechanics and treatment of this area.

- 21st - 23rd July availability mid day and evenings

Rehabilitation or backing livery now available in MK43 with a qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist.

Personalised packages available:

- Post injury/surgery box rest with in hand walking and regular Winback TECAR therapy treatments to promote healing
- On ground rehabilitation including in hand walking, long reining and personalised pole work program
- Return back to ridden work (for horses over 14hh) with a light weight confident rider with knowledge of rehabilitation
- Backing livery (for horses over 14hh) consisting of 5-6 days of work per week. Confident light weight rider with a lot of time spent on the ground before and alongside the introduction to ridden work to ensure a positive experience for your horse.

- Flood lit arena
- Wash box with heat lamps
- All weather small turnout pen
- Secure yard with CCTV
- Private track to introduce hacking
- Only 1-2 horses in at a time so they get more attention than on larger schooling yards

Why do I wear trainers to work most days? When trying to keep up with this gorgeous boy’s massive stride it’s needed 😂

Just under a month of slowly introducing this young boy into work. No gadgets just taking it slow ensuring he learns to use his body correctly. We aim for long lasting, happy and healthy ridden careers here 🤩
