Social Responsibility Walk with from Bromham to Stevington Windmill. A much more relaxed walk today, less focus on engagement games and drills and more focus on just letting the dogs mingle since these guys know and trust each other. It was lovely to let the dogs all on their long lines so they could interact freely, (closely supervised of course!) We saw some lovely play from Rigby, some lovely disengagement and focus from Marshall, beautiful listening and friendly body language from Luna and we'll Rollo... He's just Rollo 😂😉 we will by putting on another SR Walk soon so stay tuned to see more of our adventures with our training teams!

I was so lucky to spend a week with Hudson whilst his pawrents were on holiday! We even had Rupert join us on a walk! Hudson's first ever joint walk!! It went so well, so once we made it out the initial busy area we were muzzle free and we'll behaved! We EVEN did a lap of the park 😱 unheard of! Rupert helped keep him distracted and feeling confident but in the right way. His loose lead walking is showing glimmers too. It's not consistent but it's definitely coming! We had an awesome week, beating the heat! That meant late night paddock runs were a must and he has a blast dribbling his ball around in complete safety of an enclosed field .dog.run

Little Jojo carries a lot of trauma 🥺 she has SUCH a loving home now but before she was on the streets. She is so trusting of her guardian and the relationship they've built is BEAUTIFUL. ❤️ She was particularly wary of me when I first met her, especially because I had black trousers on. This is one of her triggers for her reactivity. However the second time I met her, despite the black trousers (it's all I own!) she built up to taking food from me without conflict and working for me through some training exercises! Jojo haa a mix of breeds in her but what's obvious is there is a lot of terrier! Her prey drive is very very high! 🐿️ This causes her to react to traffic, other dogs, and even people dressed up as animals... On the TV!! Her guardian has some behaviour exercises to work on and it hoping to see her again soon to find out how progress is going! Fingers crossed for you Jojo! You've got this girl! 💪

Sweet pup Alfie graduated his Puppy Programme today! 🥳 He's come on so much in the last 6 momths and turns 1 next week! His guardians have worked so consistently to gain some wonderful focus and engagement from him when out and about. His confidence has come on leaps and bounds. Initially Alfie was very suossove and rolled on his back and tucked his tail when another dog approached. Now he seeks out other dogs for a play! Rupert helped h see he didn't need to be afraid of other dogs and even when they do goofy things you can just give them space and nothing bad will happen! He is able to beautifully loose lead walk now too 😍 we discussed at his final session today (ironing out some doorbell reactivity and boundary issues) that Alfie is SO SMART he's self rewarding by picking up litter and getting a treat when he drops it 🙈 too smart for his own good! Can't wait to continue watching Alfie grow into a confident adult dog 😍

Rolo and I always enjoy such a calm dog sit together... Well until he presents me with one of his prized possession socks and then all the zoomies break loose! He's a very calm boy but gets excited when he's out on his little walks. He never fails to give me such a warm snuggly greeting and amazing cuddles on the sofa!

Bear has been coming on really well lately. We went for a joint Adventure Walk with and the other day. We came across a new dog who has wonderful social skills and ended up sharing space and chatting without any reactotovy for a good 15 minutes. Old habits die hard for Bear and he couldn't resist going for a cheeky chomp of Hazel every so often but it's very much a habitual behaviour now rather than an intensely emotionally driven one. This is good, it means it's easier to redirect and move in from. Thanks for not batting an eye lid Hazelbean-confidemcemachine!

Amigo and Tomo kept me company for a short dog sit. It was my first time staying with the boys and we got on brilliantly! I've walked the boys a handful of times but never stayed with them but we had a lovely time together. Lots of nice park walks and some off the beaten track too. We came across wild asparagus, a chicken, and some doggy friends on just one of the walks! The boys are pint size but their personalities pack a punch! See you soon sweet peas! 🐾 💙 🐾

I also got to stay with all the other animals... Check out incredible crocheted characters and critters available for sale!

These two boys hold a special place in my heart 😍 and so does their brother RiffRaff who's running free now 🌈🪽

Tarot and Raven and I enjoyed a week together on a Gold Dog Sit in April. We went on lots of long countryside walkies and many balls were thrown! Always happy boys, make my heart smile and wear my legs out within 24hrs 😂

Maggie aka Miss Maggie Moo aced her Puppy Programme session where we focused on getting her to use the ramp to get into the car. She was really scared to do it and needed a lot of encouragement. But by breaking it down for her into bitesize steps and confidently leading her through the process she elarnt that the boot isn't scary and actually the ramp wasn't going to eat her either!! She got a jackpot each time she made it to the top of the ramp and also has a safe zone blanket on the drive she could use as a signal to us that she needed a break from the task. She did awesome and mum reports she gets in and out the car now no probs! Unless she doesn't want to get in because she's having too much fun 😂 and who's arguing with 40kg of Rottie? Not me 😂🤔
