Family BBQ this weekend ( yes in the rain, South Africans BBQ in any weather🤣) , so naturally the dogs thought it was put on for them.

These two spent the afternoon tearing around the garden, supervising the sausage flipping and showing off some very questionable bear-standing-up play moves 💛

We get asked quite a lot whether we only look after smaller dogs, but the reality is we welcome all shapes, sizes and personalities into our home. Every dog arrives with their own little quirks and story, and honestly that’s one of the things we love most about what we do.

(Don’t let me get philosophical now 🤣)

Although if there’s a BBQ involved, they’re all exactly the same… completely convinced somebody is about to hand over a burger 🍔😂

Lacey and Bailey took very different approaches to beach life last weekend 🤣

Lacey was straight in the water living her best mermaid life… 🧜‍♀️

Bailey, meanwhile, positioned himself safely on the dry bit and supervised from a respectable distance 😂

This is about as exciting as our Saturday nights get these days. Waiting for the beach to cool down, then heading off on little adventures with the dogs you’ve trusted us with 💛

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Miss Dakota came over, had a little look, parked herself next to it… and decided there was absolutely no chance she’d be getting her tootsies wet 🤣🐾

Happy to supervise proceedings from a safe distance, babes.

We said “sit”… Close enough lads, we’ll take it 🤣

We often get told dogs are “strong”, “bouncy” or “a bit full on” before they come to us… and then within no time you’re stood here looking at this 💛

Our hearts melt watching them switch off and relax once they realise they’re just in a home, with a routine that feels normal 🥹

Jasper and Dexter have well and truly made themselves at home… which does leave us with one small problem…

How do we tell their owners they might not want to come home? 🤣
