Please think twice before walking your dogs in this heat.

If the pavement is too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. Burns, dehydration, and heatstroke can happen so quickly in high temperatures, even on shorter walks.

Early morning or late evening walks are safest, and don’t forget plenty of water, shady spots, and lots of rest. Some dogs will still try to play and run even when they’re overheating, so it’s up to you to keep them safe 💛

Signs of heatstroke can include:
🐶 Excessive panting
🐶 Drooling
🐶 Lethargy
🐶 Vomiting
🐶 Difficulty walking

Please stay safe and put your pups first during this hot weather 🌞

Out today with the fabulous Miss Nellie 💅🐾 and honestly… she understood the assignment.

Perfect paws, zero drama, and a strut that turned the whole walk into a runway moment. We hit our usual spots, had all the sniffs (obviously), and she served main character energy from start to finish.

Days like this are exactly why I love what I do.

Out walking Chief & Gunner today 🐾💚

Plenty of energy, lots of sniffing, and of course a few sticks along the way 🌿🐕 These two kept me on my toes but loved every minute of their adventure in the sunshine ☀️
