TRIGGER WARNING - PET LOSS
On Wednesday my family and I had to say goodbye to our wonderful dog Piper. He was 12 years old and we'd had the pleasure of taking care of him for 6 years.
Many of you will recognise him as the face of my business, proudly featured in my logo. What most people didn't see was the incredible dog behind it.
He was the most well-mannered, gentle soul, and everyone who met him adored him. What I will cherish most is the love and patience he showed our young daughters and all the other children who loved him. He loved people and all the attention he received from them (not really giving them a choice most of the time).
He taught me so much about patience, trust, and the special bond we share with our dogs. Without him, this business simply wouldn't be what it is today. As he got older, he became less able to walk, and this is one of the reasons I started the business. For me, walking a dog is very therapeutic and it was hard for me when the walks started to get shorter and fewer.
Although he's no longer by my side, his legacy will live on through my logo, my business, and every dog I have the privilege of caring for.
Thank you for everything, my beautiful boy. You were one of a kind, and you will be missed every single day. ❤️🐾
