I will always ensure your pets are always enriched during visits by providing enrichment activities, practicing on training and some gentle play with toys! 🐶

Warm weather can be lovely for us, but it can be dangerous for our pets 🐾☀️

A few simple ways to keep them cool and safe:
• Always provide fresh, cool water
• Walk dogs early in the morning or later in the evening
• Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• Make sure pets have access to shade and a cool place to rest
• Never leave pets in parked cars, even for a few minutes
• Watch for signs of heatstroke, such as heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting

Frozen treats, cooling mats, and cooling coats or bandanas can all help keep pets comfortable in the heat. If you’re unable to walk your dog during the cooler parts of the day, enrichment activities and gentle indoor play are great ways to keep them fulfilled without risking heatstroke 🧡
