Good evening everyone! 😊

It's been a crazy weekend with friends who are classed as family camping over in Filey then back to work this evening for 2 drop ins for 6 cats (2 separate houses) 🐈 🐈 🐈 🐈🐈🐈🐈

First was Rosie and her adorable kittens who I couldn't resist a cuddle with 🥰🥰
Then it was onto Lotte who's mum and dad have gone away abroad! ✈️✈️🌍

Good evening everyone 👋🐶

Today we received a new enquiry to help these two sweet babies 🐾🐶 find a foster home — and hopefully their forever home too 🤞🏡❤️

These lovely pups 🐕🐕 came from a rescue centre after their previous owner sadly passed away 💔. They travelled down to Telford 🚗🐾 to begin the next chapter of their journey.

Xena and Marley 🐶🐶 were absolute sweethearts 💕 and travelled so well! 🐾🚘❤️

☀️🐶 **Hot Weather Warning for Dog Owners** 🐶☀️

As temperatures rise, please remember that hot pavements can burn your dog’s paws and heat exhaustion can happen very quickly.

🐾 If the ground feels too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water.
🌳 Stick to shaded areas where possible.
⏰ Walk early morning or later in the evening when temperatures are lower.
🚫 Never leave dogs in cars — even for a few minutes.

During very hot weather, walks may not always be the safest option. Instead, we can offer:
🏡 Drop-in visits for toilet breaks, feeding, and company
🎾 Garden play sessions for safe exercise and stimulation
🧩 Enrichment games and cuddles indoors to keep your pup happy without overheating

👋 Hey! I’m Chloe — animal lover, pet sitter, and the face behind Bits and Bats 🦇

I’ve now been in the pet sitting world for nearly a year, and what started as a side passion alongside my full-time jobs has grown into something so much bigger. Taking the leap to make this my full-time focus has been an exciting journey! 🐾

I’m dedicated to giving every pet the same care, attention, and love I’d give my own. While I’ve built plenty of hands-on experience with animals, I’m also continuing to learn the ins and outs of running a business — which comes with its own challenges and rewards.
