A big well done to Pip today!! ⭐️ Pippin is a very nervous dog which comes out in reactivity to others dogs and people he doesn’t know (very sad because look how cute and cuddly he is 😍) I’ve been working with him and his owners for a quite a while now just building his relationship with me, we’ve done plenty of walks with his owners, house visits and a couple of overnights but he always keeps at a distance, I have been lucky enough to have a few fusses and kisses but I don’t force anything from him. We’re doing our first long sit, I’ve got him (and his sister Tia) for a whole week! His owners very kindly booked a secure field for him every morning but we weren’t sure if I’d even be able to get a harness or lead on him to bring him here, we’ve not been successful before ☹️ but this morning, slowly, with plenty of treats and praise, I got his harness on him with no reaction from him whatsoever 🥹 and now look how happy he is getting to run around the field!! It’s always so rewarding seeing hard work pay off and have nervous dogs start to trust you ❤️ Tia on the other hand is a very friendly girl who was my bestie from the day I met her, peep a pic of her at the end barking to be let out the car and into the field 😂
