Mylie has now been referred to the specialist hospital who are going to be doing his op soon 🧑‍⚕️ so we will soon be getting booked in for his pre-op check 💙🐕

Our Mylo went to the vets today as the lump on his neck has continued to grow. It has been monitored for some time but it is now at the stage where it needs to be removed otherwise it could get dangerously close to the Carotid artery in his neck 😳

It will be an intricate operation due to the close proximity to the artery. A CT scan is needed to help the vets to understand its full size and proximity to the artery, that alone will cost almost £2,000. The operation and aftercare will be in the region of £6,000 - £7,000. We have insurance but due to Mylo being a senior dog we have a limit for how much we can claim, and we will have to meet 20% of the total bill + pay the excess.

Any contributions (no matter how small) will help us to get Mylo’s operation as soon as possible and will be very gratefully received ❤️
