It was lovely to meet Blanco, the gorgeous 7-month-old puppy, today! He had a physiotherapy check-up today following his owners’ concerns about possible hip discomfort, and he was an absolute star throughout 🐶✨

Meet Kiara 🐾💛

Kiara has recently started her physiotherapy journey with me, and I’m so pleased to help with her recovery process. She has a history of bilateral hip dysplasia, alongside cruciate ligament surgeries in both knees, with her right being the most recent of the two.

With these combined challenges, our focus is on supporting her comfort, rebuilding strength, and improving her overall mobility. Her tailored physiotherapy plan includes Class IV Laser therapy, massage treatment, and controlled exercises for muscle strengthening and to help reduce strain on her joints.

Kiara has taken everything in her stride so far, and it’s safe to say her injuries haven’t slowed her down one bit! She’s still full of beans and keeping me on my toes every session!⭐️

🐾 Meet Wolfy 🐾

This gorgeous 8-year-old German Shepherd has just started his physiotherapy journey with me. He’s managing bilateral hip and elbow dysplasia, alongside a history of two spinal surgeries, and he’s been an absolute superstar so far! 🐶

Our sessions have included Class IV Laser Therapy, massage and mobilisation work, and targeted exercises like weight shifting and polework. These techniques aim to release his tension, strengthen his hindlimbs, improve his balance, and support his overall mobility 🐕

As a veterinary physiotherapist, I’m often asked about claiming physio sessions through pet insurance. The good news is that many insurance policies do cover veterinary physiotherapy when it’s recommended by your vet, especially for pets recovering from:

Fresh from his physiotherapy session and feeling the benefits of his PEMFT treatment, he was focused and full of energy, making him more balanced, and stepping through those poles like a pro! ✨

Cooper has been an absolute pleasure to treat! 🫶🏼

He has made incredible progress on his physio journey, and his intermittent right forelimb lameness has now almost completely resolved. We’re continuing with maintenance physiotherapy to address some compensatory tension along his back, but he has been an absolute star every step of the way! 🐶

From one milestone to the next 🐶

Benson has been an absolute superstar! After working through his bilateral cruciate injuries, he’s now moving so well with almost no issues from them! 👏🏼

However, we’re now shifting the focus to a new left elbow injury. Luckily, Benson already has an excellent rehab foundation, and he’s being supported with a tailored physio plan to keep him progressing safely and happily 🐕💙
