It’s definitely colder but we are cosy here!
Do not disturb - just make sure you stoke the fire before bed, Mum!!

Mickey is the only pup I’ve had whose ears stood fully erect from just four weeks old. He had a keen little head and an alertness that never wavered. From early on, I knew he was a wee man who would thrive on stimulation and engagement.

He went to Helen, an exceptionally experienced dog woman, and our conversations gave me several valuable insights into managing a pup like him. Helen could hardly wait to get him home so her house could feel like a dog home again. Mickey is bringing interest, love, and fun back into her family, just as I knew he would.

As the only female pup in the litter, Willow certainly landed on all four paws. She was booked well in advance by Kenny and Kaz, a lovely couple, who were excited to welcome a new member into their home. After enjoying a week on the North Coast, they collected Willow, where she was greeted with plenty of love and anticipation of fun times ahead.
She has not disappointed, full of fun, mischief and love! ❤️

We are proud Friends of the Cairn Terrier Relief Fund, an organisation that has worked tirelessly for 25 years to rehome Cairn Terriers in need. Their dedication extends far beyond finding new families — they also take on veterinary commitments for any adopted Cairn aged eight and over, ensuring these older dogs receive the care and comfort they deserve.

As they celebrate their 25‑year anniversary, we want to acknowledge the incredible work they do for our breed. If you feel able to give a small donation, it would be truly appreciated. Many dogs find themselves in rescue due to life’s circumstances — never through fault or blame — and every contribution helps provide them with safety, stability, and a loving future.

At McCairnie Cairns, we're suckers for a love story. ❤️

Shaun and Carol are celebrating 49 wonderful years together and have recently added a new chapter to their story with the arrival of wee Brodie.

From reminiscing about decades of cherished memories to dreaming of the adventures still to come, it was clear that Brodie had found exactly where he belongs. Some matches are just meant to be. 🐾
