Change of operating practice

Following on from my last post, I have today made the hard decision to completely stop walking and boarding services, even after the government restrictions are lifted. I have been offered permanent work within another area and I have decided that it makes financial sense to accept this to ensure stability moving forward from here.

All of my fantastic customers have been informed and have been amazingly understanding and utterly brilliant, and I send my thanks to all of them.

Hope Valley Hounds will continue to operate as a training provider, but will no longer provide the additional walking and boarding services.

This is not where I saw things going a year and half ago, but I am sure that there are many many more small businesses having to make similar decisions, and for some those decisions would have been much harder and involved many other people.

I would like to express my gratitude to all my customers, past and those yet to use our services, and look forward to working with some you again.......just in a slightly different way!

TEMPORAY CLOSURE

I have already contacted all.of my walking customers, but in case I have missed anyone who only uses my boarding or training services, please be aware that I have made the decision to temporarily suspend the business in light of the government announcement regarding isolation restrictions. I understand that this may have caused some inconvenience for customers and this decision was not made without much deliberating, but I strongly feel that it was the right decision and one that will hopefully help in some small way to bring this situation to an early conclusion.
I will wait to see what financial support is offered to small businesses such as mine and where I stand going forward and will keep you all informed as and when we return to normal business.

Many thanks for your support and understanding during this extremely difficult time for everyone.

Sunday.....sitting down with a glass of wine,just about to start my geek out and skill up session with the school of canine science. I am doing this so I can improve my skills and science based knowledge for future training sessions, and also just to keep me enthused and sharp
