We are just dogs.
We don’t understand hate.
We don’t understand cruelty.
We only know how to love, trust, and stay beside those we care about.
Two weeks ago, the world lost a mother named Wang Wang and her three puppies.
In China, according to reports, Wang Wang and her puppies endured nearly one hour of unimaginable cruelty.
Even after suffering terrible injuries, Wang Wang searched for her babies one last time. She crawled back to them, lay beside them, and never left their side until her final breath.
A mother’s love never left her puppies.
Even in her final moments.
No family should ever have to suffer like this.
No innocent animal should ever experience such cruelty.
This happened in China, but it is a reminder for the entire world.
Animals cannot speak for themselves. They rely on us to protect them.
We hope every country will continue to strengthen animal welfare laws, improve education, and take meaningful action to prevent cruelty before another innocent life is lost.
Today, it was Wang Wang.
Tomorrow, it could be one of us.
