From the first clip to the second clip in just one 5 minute handling session today.

Spotty is definitely a quick learner and incredibly intelligent.

To think I couldn't get anywhere near him for 3/4 weeks and he's now letting me do this after only having a headcollar on for just 24 hours.

He has been a tricky one to crack but we are now on the right track. Onwards and upwards!! (Like his price tag 🫢😂)

His price will increase with the more handling he has.

Milo

Yearling c**t to make 15hh (currently stands a good 13hh).
Cob x American paint.

Lightly handled, although very willing.
Can catch him in the field with food and give him a good groom. He really enjoys the attention and stands nicely. He has been sponged off with water and he didn't put a foot wrong.

I will continue to work daily with him whilst he is here.

He is good with electric fencing and is sensible with other horses. Not c**tish at all.

Super unusual colour. Incredibly hard to photograph unfortunately!
Splashes/spots on both flanks, with patches on his neck and down his front legs.

So, Milo was incredibly sweaty in his stable yesterday evening 🔥

Unfortunately, our stables are not the coolest, and although they are in the shade up until about lunch time, they still get hot very fast once the sun comes around.

I decided I'd attempt a sponge off for Milo. Now, considering he was totally unhandled until about 3 weeks ish ago - he handled this like an absolute saint!!

Didn't move a muscle, his little lip was going - he really did enjoy it! I did succeed in moving stable stains around so he is now quite yellow 😂😂

However, I managed to unearth some markings, hurrah!!! He has spots just like Spotty but Milos are in and around his 'patches' on both flanks. So unusual!

I am so surprised I still have Milo, he is such an easy going guy & has been so straightforward throughout his whole handling process. He needs his own person, he has so much to give!

Milo made me smile today 😁

I gave him a groom this morning which he thoroughly enjoyed.

Unfortunately I didn't get much on film but I did manage to catch this moment 🥺

Milos handling journey: PART TWO

(His stable stains are awful, I cannot wait to get a brush to him and give him a good scrub!! He does have a clean bed of shavings every night but, alas, this boy loves to lay in his own poo 😂)

This is the first time Milos let me touch him anywhere, other than his face (see part one).

He really did take to it like a champ. Watch until the end to see just how far he came in an under 10 minutes session.
