During the week, we carry out our deliveries in the afternoons so we close for visitors at midday. If you would like to order online and collect outside of these hours, please do get in touch and we can arrange to leave your order for you to collect at a time convenient to you. Just a little heads-up that i’m off on my holidays in the morning for just a smidgen over a week ✈️🥳

While i am away, Murphy’s will still be very much open and in very capable hands!

The wonderful Sarah, Steve, Nick and Becca will all keep the Deli operating as normal so please do place your orders as normal (the day before you need it) and they will handle everything.

Sarah will also be manning the phone and emails while i’m away so if you have any queries, need to check anything or just need to get hold of them, please call or text 07792 771348 or email at [email protected] and Sarah will be on hand to help as soon as she can. Facebook and Instagram messages may not be picked up as quickly so please do call Sarah if it is particularly urgent.

I am so grateful to have such a fantastic team behind me allowing me to swan off on holiday and i have no doubt that they will all do a brilliant job looking after everything!

If you see them, make sure you tell them i said they are all awesome 🥰

🐾 You will always have someone to talk to if you’re confused about raw feeding. We know it can feel overwhelming to begin with but we are here to help!

🐾 We try to give you real choice with 18 raw food brands and plenty of tasty natural treats, so you can find what’s right for your dog and give them plenty of variety

🐾 We get to know your dogs: their preferred meals, their favourite treats and their personalities

🐾 Our product knowledge, because we know what we’re selling and can help you navigate all those choices

🐾 MYTH OR FACT? 🐾

❌ Myth: dogs should eat the same protein every day.

✅ Fact: we recommend feeding a variety of proteins over time, ideally a minimum of 4–5 different proteins as part of their regular diet.

Why?

🥩 No single protein contains everything your dog needs. Each protein naturally provides different vitamins, minerals and nutrients, with some containing more of certain nutrients than others.

🌿 Raw food is naturally balanced through variety. Unlike many processed pet foods, raw diets don’t rely on added synthetic vitamins and minerals to provide nutrition. Instead, they aim to supply nutrients through a range of natural ingredients and different protein sources.

🔄 Rotating proteins helps provide a broader range of naturally occurring nutrients and keeps mealtimes varied and interesting for many dogs.

🩺 Protein variety may also help reduce the risk of developing sensitivities to a single protein. While it’s not guaranteed, feeding the same protein exclusively for long periods is thought by many nutrition professionals to increase the chance of some dogs becoming intolerant to that protein over time.

Of course, every dog is different and we understand that dogs with allergies, intolerances or certain medical conditions may need a slightly more limited diet so we’re always happy to help you choose what’s best for your individual dog.
