Monday Milo update. Because his mobility is so limited we are finding different was to keep him mentally stimulated. He loved going to the beach this week.
Mental stimulation is important for all dogs. Please share any ideas you have especially for less mobile or exercise restricted dogs

Our water treadmill is used to treat a wide range of conditions including spinal conditions, orthopaedic problems and soft tissue injuries.
Each treatment is tailored to the individual dog by our fully qualified hydrotherapists.

Monday Milo update number 5.
On Tuesday he saw an orthopaedic specialist. Today he had a CT scan which will be reviewed by the specialist. Now we are waiting and hoping that something can be done to enable him to live a happy pain free life.
Thank you to the team at Swale barn vets for looking after him today.

We had a high collie to non-collie ratio today. As usual I failed to get photos of all of the dogs.

Sasha has completed 50 hydrotherapy treatments.
She initially came to us following surgery for a ruptured cruciate ligament.
There is a 50% chance that the ligament in the other hind limb will also rupture within 2 years. Unfortunately this happened in Sasha’s case.
This time her owners opted to manage her without surgery. This means pain relief, a brace, a harness, regular vet checks, weight management, exercise management and of course hydrotherapy.
