Our Q1 emergency Hay Appeal just hit £12,000 !

Thank you to everyone who has helped with this and shared it to reach more people

This amount will be matched by one of our amazing supporters meaning the animals will get £24,000

£15,000 of that will cover our Q1 shortfall amd the balance will help towards the predicted Q2 shortfall as the price of hay is still literally killing us

This years harvest is not looking too clever with the dry April/May we had and these June rains would have been perfect had they of happened earlier in the year, but its a bit late now :(

So we could be in for another rough ride with Hay prices for the comming months

Even though the animals are out grazing the fields, we still feed hay as we have to ensure they dont scalp the fields as that will damage next years crop - so whilst we do feed less hay in Summer, it is still a necessity to provide it for the gang

There is still an opportunity to DOUBLE your donation as this fundraiser can be DOUBLED up to £15,000 - so we can still turn the next £3000 donated into £6000 !!

Keeping the stables tidy is a very important thing, but we are funding that new brooms can't seem to cut it when coming across difficult areas

As you can see, this new broom is simply not capable of cleaning everything in its path. It's just not on - will be returning it to the vendor with a suitable review
