First time wearing a saddle for the boys and they could not care less! The little red saddle is definitely too small but it'll do the job until I can save up enough for a proper saddle (if anyone is selling a medium-wide 15" or less saddle please let me know!)

This afternoon was spent with one of my regular clients, the lovely Posie ❤️
Posie is a 4 year old Welsh D mare who's been getting some long-reining ready for backing, and today I finally got my brave pants on and got on board and she was as good as gold! She just needs some confidence building and reassurance, and she's going to make a lovely horse!

Bridle training with the boys has been going well! They're starting to get used to having the bit in their mouth, and hopefully should be all set for doing some long reining in their bridles once the dentist has checked their teeth. I've been using a full cheek rubber snaffle with a copper lozenge to start them off with something gentle in their mouths, and the full cheek will help guide their head for steering, as well as prevent the bit sliding through their mouths.
