“What makes The Lounge different?”
The truth is, there are lots of fantastic people working in dog care, and we’re genuinely supportive of everyone who dedicates their lives to looking after dogs. Every dog is different, and every owner is looking for something that suits them.
For us, we wanted to create something a little different.
At The Running With Dogs Lounge, we never have more than 12 dogs in a day. Keeping our numbers small allows us to really get to know every dog as an individual and create an environment that’s calm, relaxed and carefully managed.
We believe that dogs don’t just need opportunities to play—they also need opportunities to rest, decompress and simply be dogs.
Our days are built around:
🐾 Calm, controlled socialisation.
🐾 Mental enrichment and games.
🐾 Appropriate physical exercise.
🐾 Plenty of time to relax, nap and switch off.
For dogs that haven’t had much experience around others, The Lounge is a gentle, supportive introduction to socialising, helping them build confidence at their own pace.
For dogs that already love being with their friends, it’s a place where they can enjoy themselves while also learning one of the most valuable life skills of all… how to settle and relax around other dogs.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’re building here. It’s more than daycare—it’s a calm, welcoming community where dogs can learn, play, rest and thrive.
