On a serious note… 💔

My wee Bailey is in the veterinary hospital tonight.

He was in his playpen when, out of nowhere, he started looking really sleepy. Frank brought him through to me and that’s when I noticed his eyes starting to roll. I literally jumped straight into the car and called our vet, but unfortunately they had just closed, so I had to head straight through to Glasgow with my precious boy.

They’ve done blood tests and so far there’s nothing obvious showing up. They’ve mentioned a few possibilities, but at the moment we just don’t have any answers.

The strange thing is, when Bailey is walking around he’s my normal, bouncing wee boy, but when you lift him up he starts going all floppy again. 💔

As you can imagine, I’m an absolute mess. Bailey has fought so hard from the minute he was born and he means more to me than I could ever put into words.

I’ll be keeping in contact with the hospital throughout the night and I’ll be there first thing in the morning to see what happens next. He may need to be referred to neurology for further investigation.

For tonight, all I can do is put my trust in the vets looking after him and hope we get some answers.

Please keep my precious wee Bailey in your thoughts and prayers tonight. 🙏🏻❤️🐾

Wee road trip today to go and see our Arlo 🥰🐾

The boys came along with Mum and Nana for a wee family reunion, and it was so lovely seeing them all together again. 💙

And would you believe it… our wee Bailey has finally caught up with his big brother Arlo! 🥹💪 He might have had a tougher start than the rest, but just look at our wee superstar now. 🌟

Nothing better than getting to see one of our Balvaigwater babies again and watching these two brothers together. Safe to say there were plenty of cuddles, kisses and waggy tails all round. 🐶💙🐾

Just so everyone knows, wee Basil is absolutely fine ❤️🐾

Unfortunately, while his daddy Paul was on his way up to Scotland to finally collect his wee boy, his campervan decided it had other plans 🤦‍♀️😂 It broke down, the RAC had to take him back home, and the van is now in the garage.

We’ve ALL had one of those days where absolutely nothing goes right, and yesterday was definitely Paul’s turn 😭😂

So just to explain my posts, Paul and I have had a running joke that I was going to close the blinds, hide under the table and pretend nobody was home when he came for Basil 😂 And now, of course, I’m joking about how I’m possibly going to cope with having Basil here a little longer...

Absolute lies. I’m devastated, obviously. All those extra puppy cuddles and kisses... terrible hardship 🤣❤️

But seriously, Basil is completely safe and happy here with me, his mummy Tilly, nana Sophie and his wee brother Bailey. He’s surrounded by everything and everyone he knows, so there is absolutely no problem with him staying a little longer.

His daddy will get here as soon as he can, and when he does, his wee Basil will be right here waiting for him with those big beautiful eyes and a whole backlog of cuddles and kisses 🥹❤️🐾

Poor Paul though... I think somebody somewhere REALLY wants me to keep Basil 😂😂😂

ONLY JOKING!! Uncle Frank would actually kill me if I announced we were keeping another one 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve already pushed my luck with Bailey! 😂🐾❤️

🚨 Sad news... or at least that's what I'm telling Basil's dad. 🤭

Unfortunately, due to circumstances completely beyond my control (and absolutely nothing to do with me wanting more puppy cuddles 😏), Basil will have to remain with Auntie Marie for a little bit longer.

It's going to be an awful few extra days... endless puppy kisses, unlimited cuddles, tiny snores, and those big puppy eyes following me everywhere. I honestly don't know how I'll survive such hardship. 😂💙

Sorry, Paul... you'll just have to be patient a wee bit longer. I promise I'll look after him... eventually I'll let you have him! 🐶❤️
