😡 LOCAL DOG WALKER ACCUSED OF CAUSING ABSOLUTE CHAOS!

I honestly don’t know what the world is coming to.

Since booking a dog walker, my dog has apparently developed some very concerning habits.

🐾 Gets ridiculously excited when the lead comes out.

🐾 Comes home tired instead of bouncing off the walls.

🐾 Has started looking at me as if I’m the one who’s supposed to organise their adventures.

🐾 Seems to think this walking business is a regular
occurrence now?!

And apparently, there’s a woman in Albrighton responsible for all of this. 🙄

Her business is called Lil Canine Crew.

She takes dogs on hour-long walks, provides individual care and seems rather committed to making sure every dog gets the attention they deserve.

Frankly, it’s outrageous. 😂

If your dog would also like to lodge a complaint, you can contact Lil Canine Crew about dog walking bookings across Albrighton and surrounding villages.

Just don’t blame me when they start bringing you their lead at every opportunity. 👀🐶

What people think dog walking looks like vs. the reality 👀🐾

Unpopular opinion, but can we talk about the picture-perfect image of dog walking we’re seeing all over social media? 😬

Perfect hair. Full makeup. Spotless clothes. Beautifully posed dogs. Every walk looking like a professional photoshoot.

And then there’s the reality… 👇

Muddy trousers, tangled leads, mystery stains, poo bags, unpredictable British weather and dogs who seem to have a sixth sense for finding the muddiest puddle in existence. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Don’t get me wrong - there’s nothing wrong with looking good or creating lovely content for your business. But sometimes I wonder whether we’re showing people the reality of dog walking or selling them an aesthetic.

Because dog walking isn’t always glamorous. It’s hands-on, messy, unpredictable work. Some days you come home looking like you’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards - and that’s before you’ve cleaned the dogs up! 🤣

Dog walking is a job, not a photoshoot.🐾

And personally, I’d rather show the real side of the job than pretend every walk is picture-perfect.

POV: You accidentally star in a Hitchcock film on your morning drop-in visit 🐦🫣

Just trying to do my job in peace… apparently the local wildlife had other plans! 😂

🐾 Welcome to the crew! 🐾

Introducing gorgeous Ozzy, the newest member of Lil Canine Crew! 🧡

He’s joined the crew on an ad-hoc basis, and we had the loveliest walk together yesterday, with plenty of sniffing and exploring. He was such a sweetheart and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. 🐶🌿

I think we’re off to a pretty great start, and I’m already looking forward to our next adventure! 🧡🐾

A LITTLE MORE RECOGNITION FOR LIL CANINE CREW 💎

I’m really pleased to share that Lil Canine Crew has been selected to receive the:

🏆 Diamond Distinction Award 2026
Leading Personalised Dog Walking & Pet Care Service - Shropshire 2026.

What makes this one particularly lovely is knowing what stood out to them when they selected Lil Canine Crew.

They highlighted the personal and independent nature of the business, the emphasis I place on individual care, and the positive reputation I’ve built with the people who trust me with their dogs.

They also recognised Lil Canine Crew as an owner-led service, where trust and personal attention are at the heart of what I do.

And honestly, those are the things that matter most to me. ❤️

Every dog is different, and I’ve always wanted the care I provide to reflect that. Whether it’s understanding a nervous dog, adapting walks to suit individual personalities, or simply building that relationship where a dog knows they’re safe and comfortable with me - those little things are a huge part of what Lil Canine Crew is about. 🐾

So to have those exact things recognised means a lot.

Thank you to Diamond Distinction Awards for recognising Lil Canine Crew and for taking the time to explain what stood out about the business.

It’s always lovely to have the work you put into something recognised - especially when it’s the things you care about most that are being recognised. 🥹💎

Here’s to another little milestone for Lil Canine Crew. 🐾❤️

📝 FOLLOW-UP INCIDENT REPORT

For everyone who took great amusement from my first outing with Bentley... 😂

Well...

Wednesday came around.

And YES - Bentley very kindly gifted me another sloppy one. 💩😂

But this time...

I WAS READY.

I spotted the signs.

I redirected the culprit.

And somehow - SOMEHOW - I got him onto the grass. 🙌🏻

And before you ask...

❌ No poo on my hand.
❌ No poo on the poo bag.
❌ No poo on the lead.
❌ No emergency return journey with a bucket of water. 😂

I repeat... NO BUCKET OF WATER WAS REQUIRED.

I’d like to think I’ve now successfully completed Bentley: Poo Incident Training 101. 😂

Although, I have to say, I think Bentley was just better behaved because we had company and was determined to make it look like I’d completely made Monday’s chaos up. 😂

My partner was there this time to witness it all, so I think Bentley was basically thinking:
“See? I’m actually a very well-behaved boy. Donna’s clearly been exaggerating.” 😂

Chester, meanwhile, continues to maintain his reputation as The Angel, standing by and watching his brother’s antics unfold. 😇

So...

Bentley - The Culprit 💩
Chester - The Angel 😇
Me - The Survivor. 😂

Bentley may have won Monday, but Wednesday was mine 💪😂

On another note, I’m only just getting round to introducing you all to Alfie😍🐾

Alfie joined me for his first walk last Thursday as one of my ad-hoc walkers, and what an absolute sweetheart he is! 🥹

He was just the loveliest boy from start to finish and he had an absolute blast in the water 💦😂 Safe to say, he wasn’t going to let a little bit of water get in the way of having the best time!

Such a gorgeous little gem, and I’m so pleased to have him joining the Lil Canine Crew when his humans need a helping hand. 💚🐶

Welcome to the crew, Alfie! 🐾

FIRST DAY INCIDENT REPORT 📝

Well, that first walk was eventful, all Bentley’s fault 😂

Both boys were lovely, but Bentley had clearly decided I needed the full experience on day one.

Before we’d even made it out the door, he’d already had a little party in the kitchen - cardboard absolutely everywhere, and I mean one million pieces scattered!

Then came the walk.

Bentley decided to produce what can only be described as an absolutely monumental poo directly outside someone’s driveway. I picked up as much as humanly possible, but somewhere during the clean-up operation things went very, very wrong.

Poo on my hand.
Poo on the poo bags.
Poo across the handle of his lead.

At this point, I was basically part of the incident. 😂

And because apparently that still wasn’t enough, I got home, grabbed a bucket of water, drove all the way back and rinsed the remaining bits off the driveway.

Oh, and Bentley also made sure to slobber all over me for good measure.

Meanwhile, Chester was just there being an absolute angel, watching his brother cause complete chaos and wondering what on earth was going on.

So there we have it…

Bentley - The Culprit.
Chester - The Angel.
Me - The Clean-Up Crew.😂

Slightly chaotic first outing, but same time again Wednesday 😆💁🏻‍♀️
