Today’s spotlight: “Man of the Hour” by Norah Jones

This spotlight is a playful song about finding uncomplicated love and loyalty in your pet, rather than a romantic partner ❤️.

Norah Jones actually wrote the song about her beloved pup, Ralph! She compares the love and companionship of her dog with the complications that can sometimes come with relationships.

Oops! It’s been a busy couple of weeks, I missed last week’s Music Monday! 🙈.

As some of you may know, Music Monday is where I share songs that celebrate the special bond between people and their pets.

Even though it’s Wednesday, I wanted to share a previous highlight in tribute to Dolly Parton, who sadly passed away yesterday 💔.

I previously featured her beautiful song “Cracker Jack,” a heartfelt tribute to the stray pup she rescued and loved as a child 🐾. The pup featured in the photo is my JRTx Toby ☺️.

Thank you for your music, Dolly, and for the joy you brought to so many. Your music will live on forever 🎶.

🎈 Abergavenny Animal Ark turns 1 🎈

Abergavenny Animal Ark is officially 1 year old 🎉. This time last year, I couldn't have imagined all the wonderful pets I'd meet, the amazing clients I'd get to know, or how much this little business would become such a big part of my life.

Being trusted with your pets is something I never take for granted. Every walk, every visit, every wagging tail, contented purrs and rustling of feathers reminds me why I chose to do this 🥰.

Thank you to everyone who's supported me, recommended me, cheered me on and trusted me with your fur/feathered babies.
