Ma Rue Propre, Second Edition

Our dogs experience Paris closer to the ground than any of us. Every day, they wander its pavements, roam its parks and linger at the foot of each tree with that gentle curiosity we hold so dear. They are the ones who live the city most intimately, and they are the ones who deserve, more than anyone, clean and well-kept streets and parks.

This is the spirit behind Ma Rue Propre 🗑️♻️🚮 , an initiative led by Marcel 🐶 and his human Mathieu, bringing dog lovers together for a moment of simple, heartfelt sharing. It is a project that deeply moved us, and one we wished to share with you.

After a first edition in the Marais, the next gathering takes place in the Batignolles.

Saturday, 3 October, 2 p.m.
Dog park, 3 place Charles-Fillion, Paris 17th

An hour-long walk to meet one another, let our companions make new friends and offer the neighbourhood a little of the care it deserves. The walk is open to all, with or without a dog, and all equipment is provided. It will continue at a neighbourhood café, where participants will be welcomed with a cool drink.

Every artist has a muse. Julia Charvin happens to be her most faithful companion : her dog.

The French illustrator shares her studio her sketches, watercolors, and morning coffee with her own dog, always by her side as she works. It’s easy to imagine that this everyday bond is where her world of illustrated dogs first began.

From that shared closeness comes a whole cast of endearing characters : dalmatians in bellhop hats carrying miniature suitcases, and dogs of other breeds just as beautifully dressed a black labrador trotting off with a stolen pastry, a bull terrier caught mid-pirouette in a ballerina’s tutu. Each one dressed with care, each one ready for the next adventure.

Slipped into real photographs of everyday life, these hand-drawn dogs turn every scene into a small theater full of charm and wit.

For World Dog Day, the bar dims its lights and launches the Doggy Social Club. A cozy stopover where owners and their loyal companions share the same table: let yourself be carried away by our signature cocktails and sharing plates, while your companion enjoys a bespoke gourmet menu and sips their exclusive « paw »ctail.

Between tunes, Sarah | photographe & illustratrice animalière | Paris will capture your dog’s gaze through a live portrait session, while 10% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to an animal protection association.
