🐴❤️Summer Time Schedule❤️🐴

The hot hot weather is here… and we are slowing right down!

Early Mornings are busy making sure all the horses are fed, creamed and protected.

After a
Quiet session in the morning, at midday the horses are showered if desired, “forced” into the shade 😁 with more food and water is replenished.

Then humans go sit in the shade too… until 6pm!

For July and August we are only offering sessions at 930am and 7pm…

Tuesday: 930 available
7pm Private pony Session(taken)

Wednesday: 930 available
7pm Junior Sharing Club (one place available)

Thursday: 930am available
7pm Private Pony Session(taken)

Friday: 930 available
7pm Private Pony Session(taken)

Saturday: 9@30 Junior Junior Club (2 places available)
730pm Members’ Group Sunset Hack (£40 club horse, £15 own horse..subject to availability. Conditions apply)

Sunday: 930am Pony Experience for our little ones (available every other week)

Finca El Algarrobo is delighted to be hosting this new endeavour, providing a fun activity for our local 6-12 year olds.

More formal introductions soon… but for now:!save the dates!

What a weekend we had, hosting Rachel Windchaser’s “Horsemanship from Nature” Clinic.

Beautiful feedback too… “a place where you can ‘be’ even when you are ‘doing’”!

Perhaps a bit cryptic… but then you had to be here!

Rachel has promised to come back later this year and offer private “Rewilding” coaching sessions. Follow us to be the first to find out!

That’s a wrap for this weekend’s Horsemanship from Nature clinic.

Thank you to every participant for arriving with open hearts, curious minds, and the willingness to really listen, both to yourselves and to the horses. Those kinds of spaces do not happen by accident.

And a huge thank you to Monica for being the hostess with the mostest and creating such a special space for learning, reflection, laughter, and connection.

Following the success of our latest event here at the Finca, where the Mijas Horse Sharing Club Horses supported a life coaching session sooooo fabulously, I have asked Rachel Windchaser if she would consider doing a “Pre-clinic Coaching Workshop” when she comes in a couple of weeks for her “Horsemanship from Nature Clinic”.

And she said Yes!!!

What a treat!

Soooo… here is your opportunity to work with Rachel and have a look at how we set clear, kind boundaries with horses and in life in general!

I am often asked why I offer intimate clinic options. The simple answer is because the work asks for it, especially when it is covering the foundations

When a horse and a human begin to really listen to each other, something very interesting starts to happen. It is not dramatic. It is not loud. Often it is labelled as boring, the horse pauses and begins to consider the person differently.

That moment is easy to miss in a crowd.
In large clinics the attention naturally goes to the big movements. The impressive changes. The moments everyone can see from a distance. But the real conversation between a horse and a human begins in the small things. A blink. A weight shift. A hesitation that asks a question.

Those moments deserve space.

In a smaller group we can slow down enough to notice what is actually happening. People are not performing. Horses are not overwhelmed by a wall of eyes and noise. The atmosphere becomes calmer, more thoughtful. Horses start to show more of who they are, and people begin to notice more of themselves.

And that is where the learning settles.

It also allows each person time. Time to try something. Time to pause. Time to adjust and try again without feeling rushed or watched by hundreds of people.

Because this foundation work is not about putting on a show. It is about helping a person see their horse more clearly, and helping the horse feel that they have been seen.

That kind of learning does not need a stadium. It just needs enough space for attention, honesty, and a few people willing to really watch.
