Those white buffalo rawhide chews found in so many pet stores go through significant processing before they become those familiar white “bones”. Personally, I prefer to avoid them.

🥛🧀 Yak cheese chews are completely different: they are made from milk, then curdled, pressed and slowly dried until they become extremely hard.

🦌 Deer antlers are natural antlers that are naturally shed by deer at the end of their growth cycle.

👉 Two alternatives I prefer to buffalo rawhide — but remember, yak cheese and antlers are very hard, so they should be appropriately sized and given under supervision because they can also damage teeth.
