🎸🤘 HAA rocked at Arboleas Rocks yesterday evening!
Getting to that moment involved a huge amount of work: collecting prize donations from local businesses, organising the raffle and tombola, finding tables, preparing boxes and beautiful items from the shop to bring along, baking snacks, and recruiting volunteers willing to help. But despite it all, we made it happen!
We were joined by 6 amazing volunteers from the start, with an extra volunteer arriving later to lend a hand. That made a total of 7 wonderful women who helped make the evening such a success.
We set up a beautiful stall filled with home décor, jewellery, handmade crafts, paintings, sausage rolls and, most importantly, a fantastic raffle with 8 major prizes and a tombola with more than 50 prizes.
What began with a little stress soon turned into a very enjoyable evening. The event was packed with people, great atmosphere and positive vibes. We went from table to table selling raffle tickets… until every single one was sold! Then came the most exciting part: drawing the winners and awarding the prizes.
We are delighted to share that the total amount raised during the evening was an incredible €802! 🎉
This was only possible thanks to the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers. Heartfelt thanks to Steph, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sheila, Laura, Ana and María Dalia. ❤️

Without a doubt, all the effort was worth it, and we hope to be back again next year.

🎸🤘 ¡HAA rocanroleó ayer por la tarde-noche en Arboleas Rocks!
Llegar hasta ese momento supuso mucho trabajo: solicitar premios a los negocios, organizar la rifa y la tómbola, buscar mesas, preparar cajas y bonitos artículos de la tienda para llevar, hornear aperitivos y encontrar voluntarias dispuestas a ayudar. Pero, a pesar de todo, ¡lo conseguimos!
Contamos con 6 voluntarias increíbles desde el principio y una más que se unió después para echarnos una mano. En total, 7 mujeres maravillosas que hicieron posible una noche muy especial.
Montamos un puesto precioso con artículos de decoración, joyería, manualidades, pinturas, rollitos de salchicha y, lo más importante, una fantástica rifa con 8 grandes premios y una tómbola con más de 50 regalos.
Lo que comenzó con algo de agobio se transformó en una velada muy agradable. El evento estaba lleno de gente, buen ambiente y energía positiva. Fuimos mesa por mesa vendiendo los boletos de la rifa… ¡hasta agotar todos los números! Después llegó el momento más emocionante: el sorteo y la entrega de premios a los ganadores.
Nos hace muchísima ilusión compartir que la recaudación total de la noche fue de ¡802 €! 🎉
Todo esto fue posible gracias al esfuerzo, la dedicación y el entusiasmo de nuestras voluntarias. Gracias de corazón a Steph, Margaret, Elizabeth, Sheila, Laura, Ana y María Dalia. ❤️
Sin duda, todo el trabajo mereció la pena y esperamos volver el próximo año.
