Our pets spend their entire lives loving us without asking for much in return. They don’t expect perfection. They simply hope to be fed when they’re hungry, comforted when they’re scared, cared for when they’re sick, and loved every day they come home to us.

They will never remember the brand of food we bought, how expensive their toys were, or how much we spent on them. But they will remember how we made them feel.

Did you make them feel safe? Did you make them feel loved? Were you patient when they were difficult, gentle when they were afraid, and present when they needed you most?

Because to them, you are their whole world.

Being a good pet owner isn’t about doing the bare minimum. It’s about giving them a life where they feel secure, respected, and genuinely loved.

So before scrolling away, ask yourself one honest question:

If they had a choice, do you think they’d still choose you as their human?

As our cats settle in for the night, we’re holding on to hope for tomorrow.

Hope that we can raise the funds needed for our stray feeding program so no animal goes hungry. Hope that we can reach our ₱43,000 vet bill goal this weekend so we can continue providing medical care to those who need it most.

Tonight, we pray for miracles. Because in rescue, sometimes a single donation, a single share, or a single act of kindness can change everything.

It’s already June, but our hearts are still full from the kindness we received last May.

These are just some of the in-kind donations that arrived for our shelter dogs and cats. From food and medicines to supplies, toys, and other essentials.

Every bag of food, every can, every toy, every donation tells our rescues that someone out there cares. For a shelter that constantly worries about the next meal, the next vet bill, and the next rescue, your generosity gives us hope and helps us keep going.

To everyone who donated, shared, supported, and believed in our mission, MADAMO GUID NGA SALAMAT. Because of you, hungry tummies were fed, sick animals received care, and countless lives were given another chance.

Meet Billy.

We rescued Billy outside SM Bacolod few months ago. Back then, he was painfully thin, badly injured, and fighting to survive.

He had a severe wound on his neck that looked like a burn. An X-ray later revealed something even more heartbreaking. We found an ai**un bullet lodged in his chest.

We don’t know exactly what Billy went through before he was rescued. But we do know that he suffered.

Despite everything, Billy never gave up.

Today, the scared and injured cat we rescued is almost unrecognizable. He is healthy, happy, playful, and full of life.

Billy is now:
✔ Fully vaccinated
✔ Neutered
✔ Dewormed
✔ Ready for a family of his own

After everything he has endured, we believe Billy deserves more than shelter life. He deserves a home where he will be safe, loved, and never hurt again.
