"🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting a Korean Bobtail this week!

Loved locally as Korea's native short-tailed landrace, only recently formalized as a breed.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: Korea
🧶 Coat: Short/long
📏 Size: Medium (3–6 kg / 7–13 lb)
✨ Rarity: Very rare (recent, regional)
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 6/10

Known for:
✅ Social
✅ Adaptable
✅ Good hunter

🔍 Deep dive: A natural, native landrace from Korea/Southeast Asia — like most natural bobtail breeds, nobody engineered the short tail.

Did you know? Documentation is genuinely thin; still working through provisional registry status rather than full recognition — one of the rarest and least-documented breeds on the whole list.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

"🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting a Cymric this week!

Loved as the long-haired, tailless cousin of the Manx with an equally devoted personality.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: Isle of Man
🧶 Coat: Long
📏 Size: Medium–Large (3.5–7 kg / 8–15 lb)
✨ Rarity: Rare
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 7/10

Known for:
✅ Playful
✅ Loyal
✅ Dog-like
✅ Good with families

🔍 Deep dive: Developed in Canada in the 1960s, when breeders started intentionally keeping the long-haired kittens that occasionally appeared in Manx litters. The Welsh-sounding name has no real Welsh connection — chosen purely for its 'Celtic' ring.

Did you know? Genetically just a long-haired Manx — CFA/GCCF call it 'Manx Longhair' rather than a separate breed. Kittens come in 4 tail lengths (Rumpy, Rumpy Riser, Stumpy, Longie), sometimes varying within the same litter.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

"🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting a Burmilla this week!

Loved for its sparkling shaded coat and calm, affectionate nature.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: United Kingdom
🧶 Coat: Short
📏 Size: Medium (3–6 kg / 7–13 lb)
✨ Rarity: Rare (mostly UK)
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 7/10
🤧 Allergy-friendly: No specific low-allergen reputation — typical Fel d1 allergen levels. No cat is truly allergen-free — all cats produce the Fel d1 protein. Spend time with the breed before adopting if allergies are a concern.

Known for:
✅ Playful
✅ Gentle
✅ Sociable

🔍 Deep dive: Genuinely accidental: in 1981 at a UK cattery, a cleaner left a door open and a chinchilla Persian kitten mated with a lilac Burmese. The unplanned litter was striking enough that breeders kept going.

Did you know? Keeps 'kitten-like' looks and behavior well into adulthood; a longer-haired variety is called the Tiffanie.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting a Dwelf this week!

Loved by fans of unusual cats for its hairless body and tiny curled ears on short legs.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: United States
🧶 Coat: Hairless
📏 Size: Small (2–3.5 kg / 4–8 lb)
✨ Rarity: Very rare (experimental hybrid)
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 7/10

Known for:
✅ Playful
✅ Affectionate
✅ Attention-loving

🔍 Deep dive: A deliberate three-way cross of Sphynx (hairless), Munchkin (short legs) and American Curl (curled ears) genetics, developed in the US in the 2000s to stack all three traits into one cat.

Did you know? Experimental/TICA-registered, not mainstream-recognized — genuinely one of the rarest-looking cats on the list.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting an Exotic Shorthair this week!

Loved for the Persian's sweet flat-faced look with a much easier-to-groom short coat.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: United States
🧶 Coat: Short
📏 Size: Medium (3–6 kg / 7–13 lb)
✨ Rarity: Common
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 9/10

Known for:
✅ Calm
✅ Affectionate
✅ Playful
✅ 'the lazy man's Persian'

🔍 Deep dive: Started late 1950s when American Shorthair breeders quietly used Persians as outcrosses to improve body type — other breeders tightened the standard specifically to exclude the crossbred cats. One breeder saw the potential and got CFA to recognize it as its own breed in 1966.

Did you know? Nicknamed 'the lazy man's Persian' — same round face and plush build, short coat instead of long. Won CFA Cat of the Year in 1991.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

Square by design — and it turns out that's a win for humans too. 🐾 The compact shape takes up less space than a round bowl of the same capacity, making it easier to fit into carriers, corners, or crowded cabinets. Plus, its flat sides are easier to grip and handle, especially if you're dealing with discomfort. Whether you're packing for a trip, setting up in a tight spot, or just want a bowl that's simple to use every day — square works harder for you. Better for pets. Easier for you. Visual notes: Consider a product shot highlighting human-side benefits like "Fits tighter spaces," "Easier grip, less strain," and "Packs flat for travel." Ever struggled to find room for a food bowl on the go? 👇

🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting a Peterbald this week!

Loved for its elegant, elongated hairless (or fine-coated) body and very people-oriented nature.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: Russia
🧶 Coat: Hairless/varies
📏 Size: Medium (2.5–5.5 kg / 6–12 lb)
✨ Rarity: Rare
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 7/10

Known for:
✅ Affectionate
✅ Intelligent
✅ Highly social
✅ Seeks warmth

🔍 Deep dive: Born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1994, when felinologist Olga Mironova crossed a Don Sphynx male with an Oriental Shorthair champion female. The first litters produced four foundation kittens.

Did you know? Kittens can be born in 5 different coat states (bald, flocked, velour, brush, straight) and non-straight coats can keep thinning through life. Dexterous webbed paws — some owners report them opening lever door handles.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

📅 Next Tuesday, Kito Kitty will meet an Exotic Shorthair!

🐾 Kito Kitty is meeting an Ocicat this week!

Loved for its wild ocelot-like spotted coat despite having no wild cat ancestry at all.

📋 Quick Facts
🌍 Origin: United States
🧶 Coat: Short
📏 Size: Medium–Large (3.5–7 kg / 8–15 lb)
✨ Rarity: Uncommon
🏠 Apartment-friendly: 6/10

Known for:
✅ Outgoing
✅ Energetic
✅ Trainable
✅ Often walked on a leash

🔍 Deep dive: Created almost by accident in 1964 by Virginia Daly (Michigan), who crossed an Abyssinian with a Siamese hoping for an Aby-patterned pointed cat. One kitten came out with cinnamon spots on ivory instead — her daughter said it looked like a baby ocelot, and the name stuck. That first kitten, Tonga, sold for $10.

Did you know? Despite the wild-cat look, there's zero wild ancestry — 100% domestic (Abyssinian x Siamese x American Shorthair). A geneticist was involved specifically to recreate the look of extinct Egyptian spotted cats.

🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME: One winner from the comments every week to win our EcoPetBox 3x3 Bundle — Litter Tray Set, Bowl Set, Scoop Set, shipped straight to your home! Drop a comment below for your chance to win.

True cat welfare has nothing to do with technology. We've been watching the current discussion with raised eyebrows 👀 It’s not about whether a litter box is electric or not. The shocking truth is this: far too many cats suffer from hiding, inaccessible, or filthy litter boxes – and it’s killing their well-being. Let’s face it: scrubbing out those boxes is a chore, not because we don’t care, but because let’s be honest, it’s a pain! Yet those excuses don’t cut it when our furry friends deserve clean sanctuaries. That’s why we developed our trays: switch them out, compost them, and you’re done! No more delaying the dreaded scrub. More clean boxes mean happier, healthier cats. Less hassle for you. More love for your cat. Skip the Scrub. 🐾 How often do you really clean your pet's tray? We want your brutally honest answers 👇

Square is the new round! 🐾 More room, less whisker stress for your furry friend. Sure, most bowls are round because... well, that's just how bowls are. But ours? They’re square, and it’s not just about looks. That square shape gives your cat more space to chow down without those pesky whiskers getting in the way. Happy pets, happier planet. That’s our jam! So, has your cat noticed the difference yet? 👀
