Short trimming cycle.
This is Rizo's hoof which is always on trimming cycle not longer then 3 weeks. To some it may seem as a short cycle but it isn't! Of course it depends how much horse moves and wears off its hooves but for typical domestic horses it is just enough to consider trimming.
⚠️It is a mistake to think hooves should be trimmed when they look off. Hooves must be trimmed BEFORE they look off to prevent deformations and to prevent peripheral loading (when only hoof wall is weight besring) what massively effects hoof mechanism and blood circulation in horse's feet.
⚠️In case of hoof rehab short trimming cycle is even crucial: all corrections done will be wiped off with long trimming cycle bringing us again to the point we started what is obviously not productive.
☝️Also as smaller the difference before trim and after as better. In case of big difference before/after trim the horse's suspensory system has to re-adjust what might be not so comfortable in the body.
