Well… this is a pretty exciting one for us.

Our new TLH6871 dog harness just won Best Harness at PATS 2026 in the UK!

And what makes this one especially meaningful is how the products were judged. The PATS panel of independent retailers and industry experts looked at innovation, design, quality, packaging, value for money and sustainability, all the little (and not-so-little) things we think about when developing new Truelove gear.

With the TLH6871, that meant looking beyond how a harness looks. We worked on the details you actually notice once you start using it: an easy magnetic buckle, a neck opening that doesn’t need to go over your dog’s head, front and back leash attachment points, lightweight aluminium hardware, an LED attachment point… even a space for your contact information.

We also chose fabrics that meet bluesign® standards, helping reduce environmental impact throughout textile production while restricting potentially harmful chemicals. Because good design isn’t only about adding more features. Sometimes, it’s about being more thoughtful about what goes into the product in the first place.

So yes, we’re very proud of this little award. But we’re even more excited to see the TLH6871 where it was actually designed to be: out there, on dogs!

Best Harness — PATS 2026. Not a bad introduction, TLH6871.

I’ll admit, dog boots used to be a VERY occasional piece of gear for me. I’d put them for hot pavment or satled sidewalks in winter. Nothing more. But I started noticing all the situations where I was checking the ground for her. Broken glass on city walks, a dark liquid on subway floors, even slippery indoor floors when we’re training. The boots went from “summer thing” to living permanently in my bag.

The indoor training one surprised me the most. When a dog is running, turning or jumping on a smooth floor, grip makes SUCH a difference. You can actually see how much more confidently they push off when their paws aren’t sliding underneath them.

Obviously I’m not putting shoes on her for every walk now. Most of the time, paws can just be paws.

But I like having them with me for the moments when the ground is the problem.

We stopped for every interesting smell, climbed over a few rocks, and took the long way back.

Honestly, I think my dog enjoyed the exploring more than I did.

Where would you take your dog if you had a whole day with nowhere to be?🐾

Easy to miss, pretty useful once the sun goes down, this little loop is here to attach an LED light for those walks that start or end in the dark!

Tag your bestie to try this game with them!! Because giving two competitive BFF 10 minutes and a pointless mission is a GREAT way to spend an afternoon!

Simples rules: run around the mall with your dog and find as many exact color matches as possible for their harness.

OF COURSE "exact match" became a VERY flexible concept super quickly.

Actual conversation we had:
👩 "That's blue."
🙋‍♀️ "That's TURQUOISE."
👩 "It's the same."
🙋‍♀️ "Put it next to the harness then."

If you’re wondering, yes, we were standing in the middle of a shop holding random objects next to our dogs like this was a completely normal thing to be doing (and hoping no one was thinking we were trying to steal!)

Every smell had to be checked. Every path had to be explored. And every puddle somehow looked like an invitation.

That’s when having good grip really matters.

Mud on the shoes?🐾

Of course.

A happy dog?🐶

Absolutely.

Would your dog walk straight through the biggest puddle they could find?

Sometimes you need your dog close quickly! Think of busy streets, unexpected dogs, crowded places… the traffic handle gives you a little more control when the leash suddenly feels too long, or Nala is pulling a bit too much to cross a road.

I'd like to speak to whoever wrote the original dog breed descriptions please.
Like "active."
Okay but HOW active?
"Affectionate."
You could've mentioned that I'd never p*e alone again.
"Alert."
Ohhhh you mean we'll be receiving live updates every time somebody closes a car door three streets away. Got it.

I just feel like we were missing some details here. Although to be fair, if the descriptions were completely accurate, we'd probably read "will destroy your sleep schedule, reorganise your entire life and develop one deeply inconvenient personality trait that you'll eventually find adorable"...
..and still go "yep, that's the one."

Taking my cat anywhere is always a bit of an adventure.

One minute, she’s sitting quietly in the carrier.

Then suddenly, she’s turning around, stretching, scratching at the sides, and trying to see what’s happening outside.

If we’re going to be out for a while, I like giving her a little more room to move around.

The side of the carrier can be expanded, giving her extra space to stretch out and relax when we stop for a break.

And if you have a cat, you already know those claws can be pretty serious. The Nylon Oxford fabric is tough, scratch-resistant, and made to handle those little bites and scratches.

Whether we’re heading to the vet, going on a short trip, or spending the day somewhere new, it’s nice to know she has a comfortable place to settle down.

Now I’m curious...

What does your cat do in the carrier?🐱

Sit quietly and enjoy the ride?

Or immediately start looking for a way out?😼

That night I thought Rani’s life won’t be the same again.

She had been sitting by the road when a driver ran over her and drove away. Rani, our happy little community pup, was left with a fractured right back leg and in severe pain.🥹

My friends found her and brought her to me in the middle of the night. Rani cried through the whole night from the pain... knowing there was so little I could do in that moment was incredibly hard.

Rani had grown up on the streets of Mumbai surrounded by people who loved her. We made sure she was fed and cared for, gave her medication, looked after her, and surrounded her with as much love as we could. Slowly, she began to recover. About a month later, she stood and started walking. Then she began playing again!❤️

Her leg was healing, but the accident had left something behind. The fear was still there.

After seeing what she had been through, I couldn’t imagine putting her back on the streets. My family felt the same: Rani came home with us for good!

With training, care, and time, I watched her confidence return. First walking without fear, then playing, running, and eventually jumping again. Every little thing she did felt different after that night: we knew how much it had taken for her to get there. That’s why I love this picture so much! Rani had just met her best friends again, the same dogs she used to live and play with before she became part of our family. And She’s just happy to see them again.🥰

After everything that happened, seeing her like this, meeting her old friends and simply enjoying her life means more to me than I can explain.

Rani is still one of the favorite pups in our group, still surrounded by people who love her. Only now, when she’s finished playing with her friends, she has a family waiting for her.

Thanks for being part of our little memories, राणी 🐕(मालकीणबाई)
