Blessed Paws Kitten Rehoming started with one kitten and a whole lot of heart.
Her name was Petal. She was found under a porch, eyes barely open, alone. No mom came back. No one claimed her. And honestly? She probably wouldn't have made it through the night.
But someone saw her. Someone stopped. And that someone reached out to us.
That's what we do. We're the people who don't walk past.
Today, Petal is a spoiled house cat who has never known another cold night. And since her, there have been dozens more. Each one a little miracle. Each one a story that could have ended badly but didn't.
We're not a big rescue. We don't have a building or a board of directors. We have foster couches, spare bedrooms, and friends who say "yes" when we ask for help.
Every kitten that comes through Blessed Paws gets:
· A warm, safe place to sleep
· Real food (not scraps)
· Medical care (vaccines, deworming, flea treatment)
· Socialization — we hold them, play with them, teach them that humans are good
· An honest, loving adoption process
And then they leave. Which is the whole point.
We cry at every adoption. Then we wash the blankets and start over.
Because there's always another kitten. Always another porch, another box, another "what do I do with this?" message.
What we do is simple: we catch the ones that fall through the cracks.
And we find them homes where they'll be loved like the blessings they are.
