Dogs know more through their noses than we often realize.

Familiar. Unfamiliar. Who has been here. What has changed. How the world is expressing itself today.

They move through a landscape of information we cannot fully experience.

A dog’s nose can detect and separate scents at levels that are unimaginable to us.

Perhaps that is something worth remembering.

Before assuming. Before rushing. Before deciding what they should do.

They may already know far more about the moment than we do.

Connection happens when there is space for it.

Not when it is forced.
