Showing up as your best self isn’t just about what you’re wearing, it’s about understanding the body underneath it.
We spent the afternoon with Heather of Broadhead Equine and Lauren Bowers, RMT, looking at rider biomechanics from both sides. Functional assessment, bodywork, manual therapy, and back to the simulator to see what changed.
My biggest takeaway? Awareness. Our asymmetries don’t disappear when we get in the saddle, they come with us. Rider health is horse health.
And yes, we went straight to dinner after, where a stranger stopped to compliment all three of us on our outfits. Performance wear has a life well beyond the saddle.
