This week was Adopt a Less-Adoptable Pet Week, a week dedicated to the animals who are too often overlooked.
Senior cats. Black cats. FIV/FeLV+ cats. Shy cats. Cats with special needs. Bonded pairs.
They may not be the first ones chosen, but that has absolutely nothing to do with how much love they have to give. Sometimes the cat who needs a little extra patience, understanding, or an adopter willing to look past a label ends up being the most incredible companion.
We’re asking you to take a second look at the ones who have been waiting. Keep an eye out on rescues featuring some of their kitties who have been waiting the longest for their forever homes."
