Axle has headed home to Ontario, and Spike decided it was the perfect time to join us for some fun!

And, of course, he arrived in true Spike fashion—built like a tank, moving like a bull in a china shop, and completely unaware that personal space exists. 😂

He may be thick and determined to bulldoze his way into everything… but that is exactly what makes Spike, Spike. Let the fun begin!

Even though Biggie is a dog who has attended daycare regularly, sometimes the dynamics can change—and that’s okay.

We always take things at the dog’s pace, allowing them to interact where they feel comfortable and confident. There is no pressure and no expectation that they “have to” socialize just because they are in a daycare or boarding environment.

Dogs communicate with us in so many ways. If your dog seems uncomfortable in a situation they would normally enjoy, don’t force it. Give them space, respect their boundaries and listen to what they are telling you.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for our dogs is simply let them know they have a choice. ❤️

Bella may be small, but she has absolutely no problem putting the big dogs in their place when needed. And Beans? Well… he’s perfectly happy to sit back, relax and let his little sister handle all the chaos. 😂💛
