What’s a turkey’s favourite dessert? Peach gobbler. 🦃

We’re feeling extra thankful for all of our wonderful clients and the pets who keep us smiling! Reminder that not everything on the dinner table is safe for our pets! 🐾

🍖 Skip the ham: Ham is high in fat and salt, and fatty foods can trigger pancreatitis in dogs and cats.
🦴 No bones: Cooked bones can splinter and cause serious problems.
🧄 Avoid onions & garlic: These can be toxic to pets.
🗑️ Secure the garbage: Those tempting leftovers can quickly lead to an upset tummy—or worse!

Please note: We will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving and will return to regular hours on Tuesday.

Wishing you and your two- and four-legged family members a happy and safe Thanksgiving! 🧡🍁

Another unfortunate run-in with a porcupine! 🦔😬

This sweet boy came to us for a recheck after an emergency visit for a face full of quills. Thankfully, he’s doing well and is back to looking like his handsome self! 💛🐾

🖤 Black Cat Appreciation Day 🖤
Black cats don’t always get the attention they deserve simply because of their looks, but here at River Road, we love them just the same. 🐈‍⬛✨

They may look similar, but every black cat is completely unique, with their own personality, quirks, and charm. From playful and mischievous to sweet and cuddly, they each have their own special way of stealing our hearts. 🖤

Today, we’re celebrating all the beautiful black cats who deserve to be seen, loved, and appreciated! 🐾
